Had to pick a hotel when in Georgia for a wedding and chose this based on Marriott's reputation and glad I did !! Every aspect of this hotel was great !! If in the area you need to look no further than this one !!

Stayed at this location for 2 nights. Service was great and our room was perfect for the 5 guests. Hotel is under construction however it does not interfere with anything. Great continental breakfast. Will stay again.

Overall good stay. Construction & pool were an unfortunate surprise.
Pros: This was our second time staying here. We stayed for two nights while in town visiting family (Friday & Saturday nights.) At check-in, we were greeted by a fresh, clean smell as we walked to the desk. A female staff member (name stared with a "K") was there to check us in and a male staff member (John) was cleaning the seating area while engaging in conversation with us. The breakfast here is good, especially for families. I appreciate that they offer full hot/cold breakfast options each morning from 6:30a-9:30a. Large double room with fridge and microwave. Nice storage nook for snacks and light groceries as well.

Cons: We would've appreciated the courtesy of explaining that construction would take place from Saturday through Sunday. We have small children, so the loud noise was a bit unpleasant. We were also confused about there to walk due to the plastic draping throughout the first level of the hotel. Also, the housekeeping staff were pretty loud (talking loud - unprofessional) during their afternoon rotations, which was nap time for our children. The pool is also very lacking. We were looking forward to unwinding immediately after check-in. After changing into our swim attire and walking around back to the pool, we were so disappointed. It is just a hole with water. It's apparent that it was an after-thought to the builders. This would be a deal-breaker in the future if we return again in the spring/summer and plan to use the pool.

Overall: Courteous staff at check-in and over the phone, good breakfast, great location to restaurants/stores/highway.

Nice hotel on the bypass near GSU. They were putting in new carpets and keeping it updated since it is a busy hotel. Love staying here, staff is friendly and helpful. Will be back next time I'm in the area.

Great Stay
I had a clean and comfortable suite on the first floor. I was given a choice of the first or second floor by the very courteous staff at the front desk. I was there for three nights and enjoyed the breakfast variety and great coffee. The refrigerator and microwave were convenient for saving and reheating leftovers from restaurants over the course of my stay. I would stay there again.

Clean and friendly with some low points.
The hotel is conveniently located to the GSU campus, but a bit away from some of the main shopping/gas/restaurants. The rooms could be a bit cleaner. Our room had no hot water - none. But, manager reported after our stay a boiler was broken and it has since been fixed. There were other issues too. The staff could not have been nicer, but there needs to me more of them at peak periods. Manager gave me some bonus points for goodwill, so I'll probably stay again. It works if you are using Marriott points.
