Bella's was our go-to pizza joint for years, but the quality of food and the service seem to have lapsed in the last year or two. We loved it so much we'd receive Bella's gift cards from family/friends.
The pizza is actually really good, as are the subs if you want a change. The spaghetti that was always good has been served with very very water-y marinara lately.
The hit of the table was always the garlic knots. Until the last few times we've gone, and the knots have been tasteless and much more doughy than normal. They're simply not what they used to be. Once they were virtually inedible, and the staff showed zero interest in our comments to that fact.
With Blue Moon, Zucca, Mellow Mushroom, and New York Exchange all within 10 minutes of Bella's, they need to step up their game.
Also, with a good new Mexican place, a popular Tae-kwon-do spot, and a sushi joint, parking can be impossible on evenings.
