Oh Zucca...your pizza is awesome, and the patio atmosphere is one of the best in Smyrna. But seriously, service couldn't have been worse if you tried. Our server took our order without writing anything down...then of course got it wrong. To their credit, the re-order came back out quickly and it tasted great. The server then asked if my wife wanted a refill...but failed to ever bring it. We waited...and waited...and waited...for the server to come back and bring our check....felt like an eternity, but had to have been at least 20 minutes. The only thing saving this rating from "poor" is that the quality of the food was excellent, and we were not charged for the drink that was never refilled...though we never received an apology or any acknowledgement of the terrible service.

Solid pizza, good atmosphere for drinks with friends, easy booth seating for a family of four. Good to have a neighborhood pizza place close to the house.

They advertise that their pizza was the winner of the Southeast Region best traditional pizza at the 2008 International Pizza Expo. So I was looking forward to trying their pizza. Ordered the 18" pepperoni. When I got it home my wife opened the box and the pizza looked small. So she whipped out her tape measure and sure enough our 18" pizza was not quite 16 inches. Not a show stopper but I am used to pizzas where they give you more then advertised, when you open the box the pizza is so large that it is turned up at the edges to fit it in the box. Anyhow, the pizza was very bland, the toppings (cheese and pepperoni) were very skimpy to the point that my wife had to doctor the pizza by adding extras cheese. They might have won the award back in 2008 but I can see why they did not win it this year and they should stop living on their past award if they are not going to deliver what they advertise. There is much better pizza right around the corner at DaVinci's, we will not be going back to Zucca

Visited Zucca earlier in the week.. I wanted to go to Blue Moon Pizza but the manager at the hotel in which I was staying recommended Zucca over Blue Moon... I should have gone with my gut instinct... Zucca is located in a nice development surrounded by other restaurants and bars... I arrived about 6pm and the place was dead... Service was prompt and my waitress was very nice and courteous.. however, the salad was ok and the pizza was just pizza.. maybe I ordered the wrong pizza but I'm sure Atlanta has better pizza joints than Zucca
