“Great place.. for free!”

Daisy Hill Conservation Park
Reviewed April 22, 2014 via mobile

I can't give a higher mark as it's quite small, but considering it's free it is well worth a visit. Saw 3 koala's up close..there's a few things for young kids to do & a lot of educational resources. It's set in beautiful Aussie forest, perfect for picnics. .

Thank Kerry B

Well maintained, educational center. Unfortunately, when we visited, there was only on koala undergoing rehab, but we got to see the little fellow sleeping (and occasionally turning) for quite a while. Plenty of room for walks but we did not have time to take advantage.

There are two videos on animal rehabilitation programs. However, they were a bit disappointing as they seemed to highlight more of what the rangers do than details of the actual rehab program.

I like there are many bbq's and the bush setting there are plenty of wallabies around in the afternoons. Its open 7 days a week and its a good place to kick a football or go bushwalking

Great walks and a bike track leading you through forest. Take your pick as to how hard you want your travels. If you are lucky you might spot some koalas or wallabies on your trek. Stop for a picnic also if you want or stop into the koala centre (FREE) to learn more and see the koalas up close
