“SUCH A BEATIFUL PIECE OF HISTORY, GREAT B&B”
Reviewed August 9, 2012

Rick and Laura are such fine owner/ operators....they give such personal attention. Rick who is a therapist and Laura retired school teacher give there all to ths Inn and its guest.. They are such wonderful people. if you enjoy B&B Inns this is one you do not want to miss. They have the most beatiful weddings, in the Spring the azelas wrap around the walk around porch and the Koi pond is just alive with fish and flowers Thanksgiving dinner, Oh and the Christmas decor is just beatiful. You truly step back in time when you come to our little town and stay at this Inn. The furnishings are amazing if you enjoy antiques.Sit on the front porch in a rocker or swing and you can feel the peace settle in you or feel like you are back in time.Make sure to check out the library at the inn.All the nice little shops and food of all kinds are in walkng distance. Very safe B&B and town

Room Tip: They are all very nice and roomy, I feel sure if they are not full they would give you a choice

Brought my daughter, son and mother-in-law to Senoia, GA and am so glad that I booked us at the Veranda B&B! The house is beautiful and our rooms were very comfortable. My son loved the sound machine that we had in our room. Laura and Rick, your inn keepers and owners, were AMAZING! They make the best breakfast ever. It was fresh made with local produce that was delivered straight from the farm. (I saw a farmer going in the back door.)

The reason I came to visit Senoia was for my 12 year old daughter who is a HUGH "The Walking Dead" fan. The TV show is currently being filmed in Senoia and the surrounding area. From what I've heard they will be filming during the week through November. We had an awesome time watching the filming and mingling with other TWD fans that gathered by the base camp. The actor's base camp is right across the street from the Veranda too! We got to met Daryle, Andrea, Merle and some new characters that will be seen in season 3. Rick and the Governor waved at us as they were driven to their set. There are "The Walking Dead" sets everywhere as Main Street itself is a major set in the upcoming season. If you are a fan you must visit and take LOTS of photos so that you can compare the locations when the new season airs. :)

Senoia is a beautiful small city with amazingly friendly people and the B&B is located right across from Main Street. The Irish restaurant/pub in town is great. Loved their grilled salmon and they serve some of the best hot wings I've ever had, and I've them all over the country!

We loved staying with Laura and Rick and will be returning again next year to do it all again! You can't get any closer to the action than staying at the Veranda Inn. Do yourself a favor and book your stay now and walk with the dead in beautiful Senoia!

This beautiful, historic old hotel had nice large rooms with period furnishings, comfortable beds and is located just off Main St. where all the restaurants and shops are located. Easy and pleasant walk. It is so quiet at night that each room comes with a nature sound machine for those that don't do quiet!
The large veranda is wonderful with great old wicker chairs and porch rockers. Wonderful Southern hospitality - the innkeepers were great and willing to assist with anything without "hovering". The breakfast was very filling and absolutely wonderful. We will definitely return!

My niece selected The Veranda for her wedding. It was the perfect size for the Bride's family. We all slept well in the soft comfortable beds. Each room has it's own bath. The staff was FABULOUS and very accomodating to everything we were wanting to do. The wedding and reception were held in the garden in the evening. We had plenty of room for the 135 guests. The food for the reception was some of the best food we ever had at a wedding.

We visitied the Southern Living 2012 Idea House in Senoia, GA and decided to spend the night in Senoia on the spur of the moment. We found the Veranda B & B within easy walking distance from the main street of town. The Innkeepers were very gracious and made us feel right at home. We stayed upstairs in Room 5. The room was very comfortable and clean. There was a small bouquet of fresh flowers on the nightstand. My husband really enjoyed the "white noise" machine provided in the room to help block any distracting sounds from the hallway or adjoining room. There is a nice swing and many comfortable rockers and chairs to relax on the veranda "wrap around porch". Breakfast was very good, especially the peach cobbler! This old historic mansion and "movie set" town is definitely worth a visit. I hope to visit again in the future.

My sister found this delightful Inn and we decided it was the perfect gift for our parents for Christmas. They spent a night there in March and had the best time. They raved about the quaint town of Senoia, the beauty of the Inn and the incredible couple that run the place. Their pictures back up everything they told us. Sounds like the perfect getaway place for anyone looking for a quiet weekend. From their description, the breakfast alone would be worth the trip. My husband and I are hoping to go over soon.
