“Absolutely Amazing!”
Reviewed January 26, 2013 via mobile

Food was delicious, service was attentive and atmosphere was comfortable. I eat at so many different places and this is one of the best. It's so comfortable and the food is amazing. Feels like I'm eating in a French kitchen and there are so many small details which amaze you. This is a must go and surprised it's not #1 in Sandy Springs.

“Excellent local French bistro”
Reviewed November 23, 2012

Our group of five enjoyed a wide array of different dishes, each of which passed tests with flying colours.

We had 3 appetisers between us, making the justified assumption that the 2 salads would be more than large enough to share. The onion soup was top rated.

Entrees included grilled salmon, Marmitte du Pecheur, Escalope de beau a la Normande and 2 portios of Demi canard roti a la Parisienne. Again, all the dishes were delicious and attractively presented.

Service was efficient too, and we were not hurried despite being last to leave.

A most enjoyable evening.

“Amazing French Bistro!”
Reviewed November 13, 2012

We just had the most amazing meal. Everything was plated beautifully. Each course looked so decorative - not a detail missed. And, the food was equally delicious. We had the French Onion Soup, served in mini soup terrines (nice touch), escargot (the best), filet mignon with Roquefort sauce - served with potatoes au gratin & green beans in a tomato coulis and balsamic vinegar. I am not s huge fan of green beans, but these were so fresh and tasty - the right texture. For dessert, my husband had the apple tarte tartain, which was served with mini shot glasses of alcohol infused whipped cream, creme fraiche, and warm caramel sauce. I had the chocolate mousse, also served with mini shot glasses of cherries in brandy sauce, hot fudge, and homemade jam, along with a homemade pastry. The portions were quite large, too (unlike many upscale, pricey establishments, who serve small portions with large price tags). I enjoyed every bite! The only negative comment I have is about the center tables, in the restaurant. They are really close together. Otherwise, I can't say anything negative about this place because it is so amazing. Will be back next month, for our anniversary!

“Great neighborhood spot.”
Reviewed October 15, 2012

Lovely little restaurant with outdoor protected seating. Family owned and they make you feel like an old friend when you enter. The special I tried was a Duck Breast. Delightful. The duck was cooked perfectly, with creamy mashed sweet potatoes with a fig and roasted peach. Also, with the house salad there is a garnish on the plate that I couldn't stop eating. Came to find out it is onions cooked in Grenadine.

“French Bistro dining and atmosphere in Sandy Springs”
Reviewed September 21, 2012

First, get over the fact that you are dining in what used to be a Johhny Rockets burger 'joint'. Sample the tapanade and fresh bread while you peruse the quiche and salad selections. What appears to be rather meager and simple fare is more than enough to fill you at one meal. Pay close attention to the quiche specials. This is what quiche is meant to be...light, fluffy and flavorful without being filling. The service is excellent, especially when they know you as a return customer.
