This is a beautiful church set out a ways from the main part of town. It has some beautiful stained glass, as well as just a great atmosphere. The older gentleman inside gave us a wonderful overview of the history of the church and of the glass. He was entertaining, friendly and was a member at the church. I believe his name might have been Paul, but he was from the North so I hope he knows that we think he did an excellent job. We also strolled around to the celtic cross down the path and the cemetery. It was just a wonderful place to photograph and to enjoy.

This is a must for history buffs! The church itself is so beautiful and quaint. Cemetery is also very interesting.

I rode my bike to the church from The Beach Club on SSI. The church is very pretty with stained glass windows and a wooden ceiling. The most impresive thing though is the surrounding cemetary with oak trees draped in Spanish moss. Having been on the ghost walk the night before and hearing about the history of the island, it was geat to see the graves of some of those same people.

This historic church, where the Wesley brothers preached, worshipped, and wrote such wonderful hymns is beautiful in and of itself, but the surrounding land is gorgeous. The is a very old cemetery - if interested in history, one could spend a whole day reading tombstones dating back to the early 1800's (and maybe earlier?). A peaceful place to sit on a bench and read.

Enjoyed wandering cemetary and visiting church building similar to old church I attended in At;anta. Had some knowledge beforehand from Price's novels.
