The sunset was really nice. There was not much to do, but watch the sunset. The kiddie pool area near the pier is closed, there is a nice playground and putt putt golf.

I've been to this pier multiple times. It was nice to people watch. The water was creepy at high tide & at night...lol. I would say the best part is not the pier itself but the park, shops, bars, restaurant's, miniature golf, light house, tented vendors, strolling the village, and site seeing. My favorite thing to do is get take out from Barbra Jean's and walk over to the open court yard with the big oak tree. I like sitting in the white rocking chairs eating the cobbler of the day enjoying the breeze. I wouldn't recommend sitting at the tables without being on high alert for feeding birds and bird poop from above! I've visited this place multiple times since 2008.

Very well maintained & clean. People very nice. Fun watching people fish, or just stroll along watch the sunset. Can even watch the big ships from Brunswick hauling autos from all over the world. Escorted by local Pilots 12 miles out to sea, then the Pilot returns to the pier, by a special "Pilot boat", & unloads up the ladder to the pier & his job is done for the day!

Great place to see friendly fishermen with crab nets and fishing poles, cruise ships and cargo ships, great breezes.

This is a must do when on SSI. It is in the village and is a great place to meet locals and vacationers. We always see dolphins here throughout the day and plenty of other creatures. There are always fisherman here catching a variety, but most are going for sharks, which are caught daily.
