Great local place tucked in the very back of the Redfern village shopping center. They have a crazy happy hour ($6/dozen) steamed or raw oysters that keeps us coming back annually. Outside tables are nice if weather permits and they often have live music. This place is a "cant miss" for fresh, local food while on the island. If you're staying in Hampton Inn, walk through the back (by the dumpster) and you can walk there in about 3 minutes.

Service is a bit slow, which is fine because they're shucked to order, so be sure to order multiples if you're going to want more than a dozen.

Fresh steamed oysters right at the bar and at discounted rates during happy hour. There is plenty of seating and lots of other items offered on the menu but the steamed oysters are so fresh they are shucking them right behind the bar.

We were staying with friends for the GA/FL weekend and went here on Friday nite. Surprisingly not busy...hmmm...is there a reason? We started with raw oysters and boiled shrimp. Both were very good. I had a margarita which was very good but another person at the table had to send her drink back because the tonic water was flat. Someone ordered some hush puppies. They were overcooked or cooked in old oil. When we finally saw the server again we told her and she said she would replace them. It was quite awhile later that someone else dropped off the replacement. No improvement. I had ordered an oyster po'boy with chips. Really disappointed as the batter was overcooked. The side of housemade chips took up half the plate and were okay but again seemed overcooked. Husband had blackened mahi which he really enjoyed. Maybe it was just a bad nite for the fry cook. The service was not that great even though our friends knew the server. Other reviews are positive so maybe it was just an off nite. We sat outside and there were too many tables and chairs for the space. We had a time dragging wrought iron chairs across the concrete patio to get in and out.

But the best item was the shrimp and grits. 2nd best I've ever had,
Kelsey was our waitress and she was great! Would highly recommend this restaurant!

Was in the mood for fried seafood and their fried oysters were awesome. Vegetables and homemade chips were fresh and as advertised. I'd recommend it.

Patio was busy on Sat night and the GA football game was on so the place was packed, we had a great time.
