We've stayed here twice and had a wonderful visit each time. We even stayed in the penthouse suite this time and enjoyed it very much. However, it's the little things that keep this place from being phenomenal. First, the pros...beautiful hotel, wonderful breakfast and breakfast staff, nice staff overall, beautiful décor both exterior and interior, keyless entry is very nice, clean room. That said, we were disappointed in the penthouse suite because to get to it, you had to exit the elevator in the restaurant, then walk through a corridor very busy with wait staff and always filled with dirty dishes, trays, extra chairs, drink crates, a cash register, and, for an entire day, a mop and bucket filled with nasty water right outside our suite door. There was no privacy at all on the beautiful balcony. Tables for the restaurant extend all the way down to a "lockout" door for the penthouse balcony, so any conversations at these tables, along with restaurant noise, could clearly be heard while trying to enjoy the balcony. Plus, all you had to do is lean over the railing and you could see the guests. The room itself was indeed beautiful, but really no different than the regular rooms, other than more windows and a more open balcony. "His" bathroom shower is quite small, and my wife had issues with her shower due to the location of the faucets. You can't have the curtains...We've stayed here twice and had a wonderful visit each time. We even stayed in the penthouse suite this time and enjoyed it very much. You can't have the curtains open at all while getting ready in the master bath unless you don't mind being seen from the condos across the street. Also, if you want a pool, don't stay here! It's almost comical, but we didn't care--we don't swim. Bring your own beachchairs and umbrellas, especially in the off-season! They say they provide them, but you won't get them in the off-season--take my word. Again, it's a beautiful place, but those little things... Unlike the other reviewer, we have never seen children here, not even teens.More
