“Great food and service, cute little place”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 3, 2014

We ate breakfast here about 3 times during our several week stay in St. Simons. We went back another time but they were closed (it was a Monday). They serve breakfast till 1pm I believe which was good since we got there around noon. During our three visits we had meals consisting of omelets, grits, and French toast, all was very good. Wait staff was attentive and prices reasonable. My only complaint was the acoustics made it a little noisy. We will definitely return.

“Loved this place! Great food and quick service.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 2, 2014

My fiancé and I stopped here for a quick lunch while scoping out our wedding venue on the island. We live in Savannah and love visiting St. Simons when we have the chance. We enjoyed a very nice lunch and had really quick service. I recommend "The Press" sandwich! They also had delicious looking salads and shrimp and grits (which is always hard to pass up). Definitely stop here while visiting St. Simons.

“We Loved this Little Place”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 27, 2014 via mobile

They are well known for their breakfast. We started with lunch and it was excellent. We finally made it to breakfast which was extremely well executed, omelet with shaved ham and cheddar, biscuits and gravy made wit their house made sausage. We has dinner twice; they are open Thursday through Saturday nights. My husband loved their short ribs and I had scallops served on risotto with Tasso ham which was delicious. The service was always friendly and professional. And Palmer is always there as well as his very professional manager. It's well worth the wait, if there is a line to get in.

“The secret is out...”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 24, 2014

We are SSI frequents, but wanted to try something different for the "morning after wedding" brunch with just our daughter and her beau, so we ventured out to Palmer's Cafe in the Village. Had honestly never even noticed it before...

You might have a short wait during peak times, but your meal will erase the wait (if you have one) from your memory forever. Palmer Fortune has taken a number of culinary methods and melded them into some of the absolutely best offerings I have seen in a while. We were there for brunch, so we were seeing both breakfast and luncheon entrees being served around us. The presentation of EVERYTHING is do delightful that you just don't want to disturb it with a fork, but oooohhhhhh when you do...

Palmer's Cafe will definitely become one of our MUST DO eateries on the Goldenest of the Golden Isles on every future visit.

Kudos, Palmer, on your fine establishment.
