We loved the fact the house has original furniture and is beautifully restored but visits on the hour at all three sites mean you have too long between visits which last just under the hour leaving you too little time to get to the next home, so took five hours!

Once again, I enjoyed the grounds more than the interior, but that's just me.

We did a family photo session here for our family Christmas card. The grounds are beautiful and they do tours of the house as well.

There are Antebellum houses, and then there are ANTEBELLUM houses that sparkle more than most. Barrington Hall is such a place. The grounds, the interiors and the stories are well maintained and the stories well told. Barrington Hall sits at one end of the Historic District of Roswell like a regal diamond reflecting the past while overlooking a vibrant, fun historic town like no other near Atlanta. This place is stunning, as is Downtown Roswell with it's galleries, restaurants, shops and artisan bakeries

If you want to visit old authentic Olde South, this is the place to go. It is the home of the Founder of Roswell and one of the few pre-Civil War mansions to survive Sherman's attack on Atlanta.
