“Excellent deep fried pickles”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 31, 2012

Located in Roswell's tourist area, this sandwhich shop's best offering was deep fried pickles. They were excellent as were the french fries, which were cooked to near perfection. On the other hand, one cannot live on french fries and pickles alone. Four of us ate here in late December and the sandwhich ratings given by their consumers ranged from 5 to 6.5 on a 1-10 scale. We were seated in the Barn, which should be avoided, if possible. It's not a real barn but it is not particularly hospitable - low light, cheap seats. Ambience matters somewhat, even in a sandwhich shop. Eat in the house or outside, if possible. Prices are mid-range, the four of us ate here for about $50. Service was fast and friendly. Seemed a bit like Zingerman's when we arrived but that's where the comparsion ended.

“A good place for a cheap eat.”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 30, 2012

This is not the place to center your trip around but if you need a cheap place to get good food this works. The fried pickles are good but the actual entrees leave a bit to be desired. My suggestion would be to order soup and some appetizers and just go with that. It's really not anything to write home about but check it out for lunch.

“Very Good!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 11, 2012

We've been two times in the last two months. VERY fresh made sandwiches! This last time our 3yr old daughter came along. We ordered the hot dog, her request, and this was no ordinary hot dog! It was very juicy and delicious as she put it! She loved the carrot cake cookie with cream cheese icing! Make sure to get a cookie or two to go, you'll thank me! Great place to eat outside on a nice day! Just make sure to get your drink first, then get in line to order your sandwich. It looks confusing when you first step in, but it's really not.

“Just average”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 30, 2012

Average food, average service. This could be any sandwich shop, anywhere. The best thing this place has going for it is its cute name. The food tasted like something I would make for lunch on a workday but just costs a lot more. I didn't think I got a good value. I will not elect to return but will if someone else wants to go.

“Excellent Value!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 11, 2012

I was in Atlanta for a conference and my friend who lives in Roswell brought me to this great restaurant! I enjoyed a nice cup of tortilla soup. It was tasty and homemade. The service was very fast and the staff was attentive. I liked that it was a local restaurant and not a chain. The atmosphere was cozy and warm-the restaurant has been converted from a house.
