“bad experience”
Reviewed April 30, 2014

We went to this place for the first time today. You pay before you get your meal. Had I known how bad our food would be and how bad the wait staff would be, I would have not left a tip ahead of time. We shared one sandwich and a cup of potato soup and a side salad, coffee and tea. OK, get this, one sandwich, a cup of soup and side salad and a beverage came out to the tune of $21.00! For the quality of food this was outrageous! We sent the soup back because it was watered down and tasteless. The waitress did offer up something to go to make up for the soup. My mother asked for a dessert to go but the owner and cook said, "No", and did not offer up to alter the bill or even a gift card toward a return visit. We will not return and smelled like a grease pit when we left because of poor ventilation in the cafe. Bad experience all around! :(

“Great restaurant off the beaten path”
Reviewed March 3, 2014

Oak Street cafe is one of the best kept secrets in Roswell, though that doesn't mean you won't have to wait for a table. Great spot for lunch or dinner. The homemade French fries are definitely worth the calories, and go great with a bowl of tomato basil soup. Nice atmosphere that lends itself to actually being able to have a conversation with your dining partner.

“Great Food * Great Atmosphere”
Reviewed January 3, 2014

Joseph and Kim are the fantastic owners of this cafe. We love brunch , lunch, or dinner. ALL are delicious. Family recipes, and well prepared, and served by friendly staff. You cannot go wrong no matter what you order . Joseph is a master at preparing the fine food. Put this on your list of places to dine in Roswell. You will love it, I promise !

“Place where you take friends to eat dinner.”
Reviewed November 16, 2013

Ate here while passing thru town. Was seated fast and friendly and place was warm and inviting. Not noisy like other places in town we looked at. Ordered their fries with 3 dipping sauces for an appetizer and they were hot and tasty.Ordered the tomato basil soup and it was kind of bitter. One of us ordered the meatball sandwich and they said it was excellent with the challah bun. I ordered the beet salad and the greens and goat cheese and dressing were excellent but the beets were like they got them out of a can. They do give complimentary bread and butter while you wait which was yummy.
