Stayed here Christmas Eve 2005 while visiting family in Rome, GA. It's south of the city on Hwy 27 and away from the town traffic but nearby enough to get there within 5-10 minutes. Be warned that you can hear still the outside traffic. Our hotel room had a comfortable king sized bed, w/coffee maker, microwave, and small refrigerator. The room was a good sized room and did not feel cramped. The dressing area was open to the room and added to the spaciousness. The only drawback to the room is the bathroom which contained the tub and toilet and was very narrow and cramped. There was maybe a 1 feet by 2 feet floor area in there and in order to close the door you had to carefully squeeze yourself around the door to shut it. I am a petite person (5'3", 120 lbs) and I barely had enough room to get the door shut and maintain my balance. Housekeeping does a pretty good job with cleaning but they could wipe down and clean the walls in the bathroom and dressing area. The coffee maker sits on the counter of the dressing area and the wall nearby it had dried coffee splatter spots. Since the building looks no more than 2-3 years old, there was no visible issue of mold or very worn out carpeting. For the $50 price we paid, we would definitely stay there again.
