“Horrible Customer Service”
Reviewed March 19, 2012

This hotel experience was the worst I've seen thus far. Their hotel "policy" is basically whatever they want to pull out of the air. Nothing is written down upon check in so make sure you have a clear understanding of the price. The room was musty and dank, but you get what you pay for. The "breakfast" was stale doughnuts and cereal they leave out all day and all night. If you want milk, he hands it to you from behind the counter. The location is away from everything. I know its Rome but pay the extra price and stay at the LaQuinta or the Jamison Inn.

We stayed overnight at this hotel on a Friday night after attending an athletic event in a nearby town. The room was spotlessly clean. The hotel is very basic, but it is fine for an overnight stay. There was a microwave and refrigerator in our room. Plan to eat breakfast elsewhere. There are no restaurants very close by, but a few miles away there are plenty of places to eat. The owners were very friendly and hospitable. This hotel is a good value.

Found this very nice room at the end of a very bad day. No restaurants or stores close by, and you can forget the breakfast. Still a nice quiet place.

I was in Rome GA for several weeks with a small group of co-workers and needed short term lodgings. After a HORRIBLE experience at another motel in town, we lucked upon America's Best. Needless to say, we quickly recommended the motel to our other co- workers and we ended up using the facility for the duration of our 13 week stay-approximately 6 weeks. The rooms are clean and spacious, the towels and beds arranged nicely. They all have a fridge, microwave, alarm clock, ironing board, and iron by request. It is convenient to downtown Rome and surrounding towns and although the eating establishments are few (Hardees and a pizza place in the immediate vicinity), it is less than 10 minutes from every restaurant chain imaginable. There is a BP station adjacent to the property and it has the usual convenience store food items. The manager and his wife were WONDERFUL hosts and made us feel at home-accommodating our odd check in hours and they did everything possible to assign us the same rooms upon every check in. I can't say enough about how I appreciated their service. If ever in the Rome area and you need a nice clean, quiet, friendly, and convenient place to stay-this is it.

I traveled with teammates and several of us left stuff at the Inn. The owners were happy to send us all our stuff free of charge. It was a great stay and the owners were very hospitable.

We just got back from a 5 night stay here and although the rooms are very basic they served as a great place to call home for a few days! The owner Kalpesh was just great and at our service at any hour day or night! The room was cleaned daily and all things were in order with the room! The location is just a few miles from the downtown area and there is a gas station/store basicly in the same parking lot that is open 24/7!
The owner made sure we had everything we needed for our stay and we even arrived one day early with no problems getting into our room at all!
The advantage this hotel carries is that is is independantly owned and operated which means the owner takes pride in his facilty and I think his family even lives above the office!
Great stay to visit family and I will call on them again in the future!!!

Stayed here for two months while on business due to location..

PROS:
Quiet
Extremely fast internet connection (6mbps) Wired LAN.
Clean
Staff (owner and family) super friendly
Long stay rates

CONS:
Location to local amenities (6 miles from the main drag
very limited 'breakfast'

While the furniture shows its age the rooms have been renovated. Towels are thick and fluffy (new). The owner and family greet you with a smile and are always friendly. TV works ok, they were upgrading for HD while I was there and some channel lose happened due to older cable equipment.
The locals staying there were 'family types', other quest included construction types.

You have a convenience store right next door and another with a fast food joint across the street but that is it for near amenities. Near the main industrial park (one mile) great for those with business there with budget in mind..

Good experience and recommend for the long term business travels..
