This hotel was recommended by a friend who lives in the Powder Springs area and said it was a new property.. and it is everything one could want for an overnight or a longer stay!!! Wonderful clean rooms. Nicely appointed with roomy bathrooms great towels.. nice pool area, laundry facilities and great cooked breakfast included. The staff were amazing and so helpful and friendly that you would have thought you were in a 5 star hotel.!! The hotel even included FREE WIFI... nice quiet AC which worked wonderfully.
The only drawback is that the location is a bit hard to find because the street names have been changed in this newly developed area and didn't show up accurately on GPS so we had to really hunt around passing the place 4 times before we saw it from the road. Otherwise... there is nothing else to say that needs improvement. I loved it!!

Location was great, right off the East West Connector in Powder Springs/Marietta area. Be careful to look out for the sign since it's not illuminated for some reason. Very clean. Breakfast was a nice deluxe continental breakfast. You've got to have a HOT cinnamon roll! The night shift front desk clerk was EXCEPTIONAL in her customer service! Her voice was the most friendly and cheerful that I've heard in a long time.

My family stayed here due to a funeral nearby. Afterward the family decided to come back to the hotel(approx. 20 people) and the staff here let us use the breakfast area, plus they even made a batch of their Otis Spunkmeyer cookies for us. The rooms were great, no odor, bathroom had a great shower. Bed was great, high thread count sheets, soft and firm pillows. The only downside to it was that the tv had a/v inputs which i tried to us so my daughter could watch some of her shows that the hotel doesn't get. But they had been disabled.

I attended a party at a friend and did not want to drive home that night so I stayed this hotel; I did not expect much but I was quiet taken by the service and clean well maintained rooms.

I have always been a member of holiday inn but this one was the best, I want to thank Betty at the Front Desk.

I chose this hotel because it was new and was between Kenessaw and Austell. The area is new and there are great shops and movie theaters nearby. The hotel is about 20 minutes from Six Flags.

The hotel is new and is obviously working out some kinks.

I made our reservation weeks in advance for a 2 queen bed suite. After a 9 hour drive I arrived at 3:15 pm to check in. The front desk staff were very cordial but you could tell they were a bit worn out and irritated with the lack of communication between them and their cleaning staff. They had to actually go up to look at a room to see if it had been cleaned before the guests went to it. Luckily they looked because it had not been cleaned yet.

We were informed our suite was not available - I was told that some of the guests had stayed longer than they booked a room and therefore I was out of luck. After about 30 minutes of going back and forth with a general manager over the PHONE, he/she was not on the premises, the front desk staff located a 2 queen room for us. The decor is modern, the beds and pillows very comfortable. The pool looked inviting, but we did not have an
opportunity to use it. The walls were surprisingly thin - the bathroom water when ran/flushed/shower in our room and the neighboring room was LOUD. We could hear doors slamming etc.

The general manager was friendly and helpful, but we were not offered any type of discount for their mix up. I am a preferred member but this didn't seem to get any extra perks at this hotel as we have received at other Holiday Inns.

Our final statement was incorrect and we had to go over it with the staff. Again, all the staff members were awesome.

This hotel had been hit by a large group of sport fans and was pretty well cleaned out of garbage bags, cinnamon rolls, syrup, spoons, etc. in the breakfast area. The manager had to run to BJ's which is right next door for syrup. They were eager to please and friendly.

The pool hours our 9am - 9pm (10pm during summer).

My final comment is that I was told over the phone that this hotel had a whirlpool/spa - when we attempted to find it, there wasn't one. Very disappointed with that fact. Had we known that in the first place we would have found another hotel.

The area is beautiful and we would recommend the hotel. There were a few problems and because it lacks a spa/whirlpool we can't say we'd go back - maybe for a quick overnight stay but not for a vacation spot.

Dear Valued Guest,

I first would like to thank for taking the time to leave this response as I know it takes time out of your busy day to do so. I’m pleased to hear that our staff was cordial and pleasant as I would expect nothing less out of our team members. However I’m appalled to hear about the ordeal you went through and assure you that these issues have been resolved as the hotel is completely under new management. If you ever decide to visit the Powder Springs or Austell area in the future I would love for you to stay with us.
