We stopped at this Hampton Inn on I-95 in Savanna on our way to Florida. The check in was efficient and the clerk was very friendly and professional. The room on the other hand needed a good cleaning. The bathroom was dirty and the bedroom looked like it had not been vacuumed in a week. We stop at Hampton Inn all the time and this room was below the Hampton Inn standard. The following morning when we went for breakfast I was really disappointed. The hot buffet was cold potatoes and a near egg item which I have never seen before called bagel toppers. It was an egg, or close to an egg, item on top of a bagel. I tried one and it was just as cold as the potatoes. I started to pour orange juice from the machine and all I got was yellow water. The person taking care of the breakfast area was no where to be seen. I decided on cereal and coffee. This was the first time that I have had a "bad" breakfast at Hampton Inn. I know that the free breakfast is not like going to Perkins or IHOP but this breakfast was really bad. Will I stop going to Hampton Inn because of this visit - Absolutely not. The night before this Hampton Inn visit I stayed at a Hampton Inn in Staunton, Va. and it was excellent. I just won't stay at this Hampton Inn again. This Hampton Inn needs someone to teach the housekeeping staff how to clean and to take a good look at their breakfast menu. Maybe the management should take a drive up I-95 to the Dunn, North Carolina Hampton Inn and see how a great hotel with a great breakfast is run.

On behalf of the entire Hampton Inn Savannah North team, I want to apologize that your experience was not more typical of what our property usually provides. Our housekeeping team was very concerned when we read this review, I can personally guarantee that your room will be at our normal standard on your next visit. As for breakfast, the bagel topper is a new item that Hamptons everywhere have rolled out as part of the new "breakfast remix." Rest assured that it is just one of several items that we feature. Some of the other aspects of your breakfast experience, however, were very disappointing, and not at all like us. My entire team eagerly awaits your next visit, when we can provide you with the sort of stay you deserve! -Justin Davis, General Manager

We do the NY / Florida circuit often throughout the year. This is the first time staying at this Hampton location. I believe we have bypassed this one due to being comparatively overpriced but because of competitive pricing, we stopped and glad we did.

The usual Hampton amenities in room (microwave/refrigerator) but the room was slightly bigger as was the bathroom. The water pressure in the shower was powerful which is unusual for Hampton.

The front desk staff is efficient and friendly. A very nice, local restaurant, Sweet Tea Grille, was recommended.

This location is directly off I-95 for easy on, easy off. Nice restaurants close by as well. McDonalds and gas across the street for quick morning start.

I've stayed in many Hampton Inn hotels over the years and I must say these folks really care about presenting the most comfortable environment for their customers. I don't usually rate Hamptons because I stay in them so often but this one really stood out.

After a long day on the road we were checking in and the front desk attendant made sure to point out the strawberry lemonade made that evening. And then the fresh baked cookies.... And later fresh popcorn!

But more importantly, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean (essential). This was just a nice hotel all around.

We stopped here for a day trip to Savannah on our way home from Florida. 20 minutes or so drive to Old Savannah.

So these folks get 5/5 because of the effort they put into small details that really make a difference.

Good job y'all!

My family & I stayed here breaking up the long trip to Orlando from DE. It was a great stay. The staff was courteous & rooms clean. The pool was available which made it that much better. I would stay again if ever in the area!

This hotel is about 10 miles from the historic district, but right off the I95 exit, so easy to get to. Very pet friendly with no extra charge. Great room with desk and love seat. Very clean. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Surrounded by fast food restaurants and gas stations, so it isn't very picturesque, but gets the job done. Lots of parking. They have complimentary breakfast which is a value, but we gave in and went across the street to the Waffle House for some carb-loading. (Driving takes a lot of energy!)
