This was our first stop on the way to Florida. Our drive from Virginia had been filled with bad weather and we knew Hamptons are reliable (been a Hilton Honors member for several years). Clean, OK room but the beds were uncomfortable--the Heavenly Bed (we OWN ONE!) was not so heavenly. Breakfast choices were not as good as we were used to at Hamptons. We have probably been in 50 Hampton Inns--and this one is..let's just say in the bottom 25.

Our beds are usually one of the highlights of your Hampton stay, and I am disappointed that yours was not up to standard. I was also sad to see that you did not enjoy our breakfast choices on the morning that you were here. We were one of the first Hamptons to upgrade our breakfast choices with the new Hampton "remix" of breakfast options, and our response to the remix has typically been quite positive. I want to personally invite you back to our property the next time that you are in our area. Here at the Hampton Inn Savannah I-95 North, we have very high standards, and we eagerly await the opportunity to provide a stay that is up to those standards. This is the first time we have traveled with our husky and have stopped to stay at a hotel overnight. This hotel was wonderful! The gal at the front desk was very nice and even gave us a treat for our doggie. The room was clean and very comfortable. The hot breakfast was also excellent. We could not leave our pet in the room by herself as per the agreement we signed upon checking in, so I stayed in the room with our pet and my husband brought up our breakfasts and we enjoyed having it in our room.
The room was large and the beds were comfortable. There is a microwave and a small refrigerator in the room. The hotel is conveniently located right off of I-95. There are food establishments & gas stations very close to the hotel. We drove a few lights down the road to Zaxby's.
We travel by car to southwest Florida 1-2 times a year. We will definitely stay here again! Thank you!

Room Tip: We stayed in room 220 and it was a nice room.

Comfy clean quite rooms right off I95. Savanna River front is a 10 minute drive so not as convenient as staying downtown, However the cost and parking are much better. The next exit off 95 has better meal choices. We stopped here as a good midway point for drive to and from Florida. Will stay here again.

Quick, no nonsense check in and they take dogs. The room was clean for a designated dog room and convenient to take the dog out. The breakfast was your standard muffins and rubber eggs. The price is right and the bed is comfortable, overall a good value for the money.

This was an average Hampton. The lady working at the reception desk was friendly. The room was clean. However, the beds were uncomfortable - either housekeeping did not make the beds properly or the sheets did not fit properly despite my efforts to fix them. Also, while not the hotel's fault, the traffic coming towards the hotel from Savannah is horrendous during rush hour. This is important if you want to have an early dinner closer to Savannah. Breakfast was adequate but the "hot" food was just warm.

We travel with our dog and always stop here. The rooms are clean and comfortable and they are nice to dogs. It is often busy, so suggest a reservation, especially if you travel with a pet. The staff is always friendly and helpful and the (free) breakfast is a bonus. Great value.

On the whole the hotel was up to standards. When we went to check in we were told that they would not give us a discount (aaa or aarp) Which I thought Hampton Inns honored. All the rest did. It was very expensive and was not worth the money. It was just like other Hamptons but did not honor the discounts. Would not stay there again. As a matter of fact on our return trip we stayed at a wingate instead.

Thank you for taking the time to reply here at TripAdvisor. While I am glad that your impression of the condition of our property was positive, I do regret that you feel as if you paid too much. John L., we do our absolute best to set our everyday rates so that we are the best value in our area. Based on availability, we do honor any number of discounts. In particular, we have a AAA rate, an AARP rate, and a military family rate that many of our customers are able to utilize. There are a couple of times during the year, however, when we are closed to these discounts. This is true of most hotels. The end of December is arguably our busiest extended strech of the year due to holiday travel, so some of our coupons and discounts are not available. However, we are contiually checking our rates against our competition to make sure that, on any given day, you will receive more "bang for your buck" at our property than you would at any other hotel in our area.

John L., feel free to contact me before your next visit, and I will make sure that you receive the lowest possible rate that we are offering at that time.
