Wonderful displays, talks, and videos. Nice gift shop. I wish the Gardens out back were a little easier to navigate.

After many trips down I-95 and having seen the museum from the interstate, we finally had some extra time to visit on a recent trip to Florida. Well worth the time. I was amazed at how comprehensive the exhibits were. The "mission experience" presentation truly puts you in the middle of the action.

Don't continue to look at the B-47 that sits outside the museum along the interstate as you head south every winter. Stop and take a look. You will not be sorry.

We were pleasantly surprised with the Mightly 8th AF Heritage Museum. While it is not repleat with WWII aircraft, the numerous displays of various WWII 8th AF units, along with the simulations of pre-mission briefing, maintenance, and an actual mission were excellent and very detailed. The museum is well laid out and even includes an extensive library and archives. Though I live 600 miles away, I'll be returning frequently.

This is a well laid out and interesting museum. It's also a great tribute to the men and women of the Eighth Air Force! As a WWII history buff, I was impressed with the artifacts and photos displayed throughout the museum, many of which I had not seen before. I felt that most of the exhibits focused on the people of the Eighth, rather than just showing artifacts or dry history. Near the center of the museum is a B-17, the "City of Savannah," that is being meticulously restored by staff and volunteers. The museum is easily accessible right off I-95. Well worth the visit!

A very good museum which covers the history of the Eight Air Force in Europe. It is very complete and easy yo understand. Take two hours to see it all.
