Perhaps a five star dinner? Look no further! From the old time soda fountain, to the hand patted burgers, Bon ViVant is that hole-in-the-wall diner not to be overlooked. Settle right in with our famous "Old Glory" chicken salad sandwiches or indulge in our own twist on pasta with the Petti de Pollo dish. Trust the locals on the town favorite meatloaf, even add a hand spun milkshake to the mix! No matter what you decide on, everything on our menu is simply delightful, as shown by our recent "award for small town dining" by trip advisor. If that hasn't convinced you stop by perhaps a cup of freshly brewed coffee and our massive, freshly baked cinnamon rolls and pies from the bakery will help make your decision easier. Rumor has it our treats are better than any grandmothers' recipe (or at least that's what we're told). Whatever you put your fork into around here we can guarantee you won't be disappointed. So come on in and let us welcome you to the South's finest! See you soon!

We were looking for a restaurant in Pine Mt. On a Sunday evening. After checking Tripadvisor we decided on Bon Vivant Cafe. Our food was excellent, we had the shrimp and grits and meat loaf meal. Both were outstanding. One person had posted that they had an awful experience on a Sunday, we found our experience was totally different! Jessica was friendly, pleasant, and helpful.

Vegetable chili was barely warm and not very tasty. The quiche was disappointing. Cuban sandwich not bad but not traditional Cuban sandwich. Very nice fruit and cheese platter. The restaurant is very cute and nostalgic.

We were visiting friends who live in Hamilton, GA and decided to have a late lunch on a Sunday afternoon while wandering main street shops. Friends had said food was good, etc. We were not impressed at all mainly due to the service. The Sunday service team seem to be the second string team. Had to our server ask multiple times for silverware, food was slow coming out, and server didn't make it clear he could take payment. He also didn't want to make an effort to walk to front of the small restaurant to get receipt tape but had to because the other server was busy with his table. Thought it was cute to have a 5 minute chat via yelling with other server at the front of the restaurant. If we had received this poor level of service on a Friday or Saturday night doubtful we would been willing pay the bill in full. Since we were with friends who frequent this place we didn't say too much out loud. On the food, skip the salad trio plate. The only thing on plate that had flavor was the broccoli salad. One friend got the summer squash soup and said it was loaded with what she thought was rosemary. She liked it but again, not sure it was actually rosemary since didn't taste it. To be on the safe side, ask what it's made with before ordering. Hopefully your server will be able to answer it correctly. She didn't ask but not sure our server could have answered the question either. Chip and salsa - salsa is watery at best. Best thing going for the place are the desserts which we did not get but they are made by an Amish family and looked wonderful. After this experience, if we ever go back to Hamilton/Pine Mountain area we'd have to think twice about stopping here.

This is a wonderful little restaurant and ice cream bar. We popped in for a Saturday lunch, where we enjoyed the pimento burger, black and blue burger and roast beef sandwich along with a bottle of wine. The host gave us samples of wine to select our bottle, which was nice. And the prices were very affordable too - for home cooked food! (The burgers were hand formed, which is to me shows top notch kitchen prep in this day and age.)

I would definitely return when I am in town.
