We eat at the Georgia Shrimp Company around once a month. The shrimp just can't be beat. I have had it prepared several different ways and it is always excellent. If you love shrimp, you will not be disappointed here! The fried oysters, when not too small, are also very good. And the Fish and Chips has always been very good, too. But don't bother with the New England Clam Chowder -- it is almost inedible and does not in any way resemble New England Clam Chowder. Really terrible! The last time we were there my husband ordered the Crab Cake sandwich. When it arrived, we were surprised by the very large size of the crab patty. But one bite told us we had made another mistake. It was unbelievably mushy with no discernible pieces of crabmeat--- just mush. My husband could not eat it, though he really did try! The waitress asked us about it and we were honest and told her it was not good. She told the owner and he came to the table. Basically he said that mushy was the way "people here" like their crab cakes. We almost laughed out loud. The people he was referring to, whoever they are, should be insulted! So, stick with the shrimp or oysters, or fish and chips and you won't be disappointed.
