Happy Valley {Dim Sum & Asian Cuisine}
Ranked #49 of 329 Restaurants in Norcross
Price range: $1 - $30
Cuisines: Chinese, Seafood
Description: Happy Valley Dim Sum and Asian Cuisine first opened its door in 1997 serving ever faithful and growing patrons on Buford Highway. We eventually settled into a bigger restaurant space of 10,000 square feet in 2008 at Jimmy Carter Blvd. With a team of dedicated chef and staff, our business has expanded to catering like weddings, parties and corporate functions. Our menu spread is handpicked by the popularity of dish from various Asia countries e.g Hong Kong Dim Sum, Peking Duck, Hunan Beef, Szechuan Spicy Tofu, Thai Basil Chicken and many more!

“There is better dim sum in town.”
Reviewed February 25, 2013

I thought I would try a different dim sum place for the first time in 10 years. After hearing about Happy Valley my boyfriend and I decided to try it. The dim sum was ok nothing really stood out to us. The selection wasn't anything different that the typical dim sum selections.

The kicker, SERVICE IS TERRIBLE HERE. We were eating several dim sum dishes already until I finally had to wave down a server who was reluctant to even take our drink order. We had to wave servers down to get water refills. No one came by to pick up our dishes. We ended up running out of space to get more dim sum.

“Authentic Chinese food - in an authentic Chinese setting”
Reviewed February 19, 2013

For several years now, Families with Children from China (Atlanta) has held its annual Chinese New Year celebration at Happy Valley. As those who lived in China for 12 years, Happy Valley reminds our family of the kind of Chinese dinners we would often have there. The food is very good and, coupled with the decor, the fish tanks, and the circular "family style" tables, diners don't have to fly overseas to have an authentic Chinese eating experience. This restaurant is well worth any drive to get there!

“nice traditional chinese food”
Reviewed December 30, 2012

Located in a shopping ctr right off I-85 x99 w/HK supermarket & many other retails. We came in for dinner, notice every table was having hotpot, guess that's popular here. We ordered dishes off the menu: seafood fishmaw soup, scallop w/asparagus, shrimp/chicken cashew, fish w/bitter melon & salt pepper pork chop. Every dish was very good. We will be back to try their dimsum. The front dining room bathroom has only one stall for a big restaurant, maybe there's another bathroom in the back dining room, still not enough for restaurant size.

“Best dimsum found in metro Atlanta”
Reviewed April 12, 2012

Dimsum at Happy Valley is not as salty as the other restaurants I've been too and they have huge variety to choose. The restaurant is big and clean, but the music can be too loud!

Fantastic dim sum, very reasonable prices. They do wonders with pork and shrimp here.
