Pappadeaux is our place to go when we need a seafood fix. The portions are large and everything tastes fresh. The staff always seems knowledgable about the menu.

Had lunch here yesterday and Mark our server was one of the best ever! His attention to detail, attentive but quiet service and being there when we ended something without having to ask was superb. Had oysters on the half shell, shrimp cocktail, lobster bisque, shrimp po boy, fried catfish, and lobster shrimp and pork egg rolls. Everything was excellent. Best food and service and the prices were very good. Highly recommend if you are on that side of town.

Just can't beat the crayfish entrees - just be sure to ask for water with your meal as some selections can be on the hot side!

I live in Charlotte and we do not have a Pappadeaux so be visit this restaurant on a recent excursion to Atlanta was an anticipated trip. Upon arrival it did not end up that way.The hostess is less than customer service driven. It looked as if it took between 12-20 individuals to seat you because that is the number of people that crowded the area. It was like a 3 ring circus. The Hostess says she called our number but clearly she did not. With the zoo going on around she clearly was confused. The menu was not worthy to be called a Seafood Kitchen. The seafood options were somewhat limited. The delight of the menu was the dessert.

The dishes are uniformly delicious. We do love Cajun cooking and they do a fabulous job every time. The sauces are out of this world - especially the crawfish toppings on the fish dinners. We always love their Greek salad, too. The one in Norcross wasn't quite as good as what we have eaten at Pappadeaux in Austin (Texas) but still good enough to order two nights in a row! We lucked on to a special on oysters on the half shell - what a treat. We wish they had told us when we first were ordering, we would have ordered more before we got too full! Lucky for us there's not a Pappadeaux where we live - we'd be both broke and fat! The only bad thing was that my wife's gumbo was way too spicy for even us - we had to send it back (a first for us). She got shrimp skewers instead, which were beyond delicious, like everything else at Pappadeaux!
