“Great Hospitality”
Reviewed July 28, 2013

This would be my first stay ever and indeed a pleasant one. It was a business trip over a weekend.
Looking at the previous review i was quite unhappy as i thought i have got to the wrong place. I have also experienced similar situations(but not that bad.) However the hospitality of the staffs have made me to just forget about the facilities which might not be as expected. The staffs have also explained that they are amidst of upgrading the place. Therefore that explains all. Rooms are fine and clean. But again their staffs are their assets. The waiter from the cafe and also the front office staffs. They are really friendly and helpful. You get what you paid for. Bravo to the staffs. They deserve a good compliment. Food is ok. I believe that its the only hotel in Temerloh which has got a cafe and room service and comes with a complimentary breakfast. During the ramadhan month no buffet breakfast is served but it will be sent to the room. You wanna have an early breakfast at 4am to 5.30am(sahur) its also possible.

Room Tip: Try room 119. Which i stayed. Near the pool and car park on the ground floor. Window facing the pool...

Hotel Seri Malaysia.....let me tell u, the worst hotel ever i had stayed in my life!!!!!!!!! and trust me, i stayed in da crappiestt budget hotel ever, and still, i am ok with it....but with this hotel,i am totally appalled that it can be even considered to be called a hotel, it should be called a motel. why?
1. the room i stayed in, firstly, the air cond was not that cold, its panasonic brand btw, secondly, after switching on for 30 minutes it started leaking, hence we thought, hmm...temporary problem, left air cond on for 3 hours for dinner, came back, still leaking, room still warm, request switch room
2. To make matter worst, when came back from dinner, not only to find out the bloody air cond is spoiled, my key was STUCK in the door, can u believe it? stuck? i was like what? can a key ever get stuck in the room, if house room yes, acceptable, but hotel room, come on.....totally unacceptable k
3. wifi available in the hotel. no authentication needed, two labeled hotel seri malaysia, another labelled allied. all three cannot connect. called operator, they insist it can be connected, but tried with samsung s 4, my samsung gio, black pearl 2, and also my laptop, failed. reason, line disconnected cause its too slow!!!!! its like omg!!!!!
4. room has moldy smell.....seriously, dam weird....once u enter u will know
5. the toilet of my replacement room, has a sewage smell.....seriously!!!! so whoever who commented the room has sewage smell previously ( in trip advisor)is really right. and u must close ur door tight, or else, game over...the whole room become like indah water lidat
6. swimming pool? come on, its a wading pool...some cheap skate trick to try increase the star of the hotel
7. some of the stuff in the toilet are so dam disgusting that u wonder if they do really clean their room? a picture speaks a 1000 words, let my picture do the talking, once u see it, guranteee u wun stay here
8. so how can this room in the so called hotel cost RM150 for a standard double when a new decent hotel somewhere nearby only cost rm 88? a walk around tells it all, those who stay here are either in TM Telekom/ JPJ t shirt, oh i dunno whatever government agency .....so why this hotel can survive so long, u make ur own conclusion la
8. oh yeah, last but not least, the breakfast during ramadhan month, they serve only nasi goreng? and few slice of bread. no egg , no crap. unless u wanna wake up and sahur and eat some sambal fish? this is called 1st class hospitality
so in conclusion, DO NOT EVER EVER EVER EVER STAY in this HMOTEL
why i never move out? cause by the time i got my room changed, 1030pm......i just wanna get my sleep and get out of the hotel as soon as possible. in fact, they should instead pay me for staying in this hotel. till then, good luck hunting for a hotel in temerloh. god bless
9. and oh yeah, the new room, not to mention the lights, the lamps beside the bed was not functioning both of them. only the door light and also the toilet light adn the mirror light function, making the room looks extremely 'romantic' and well lit up
and for the long review....sorry, i cant help but to fulfill my social obligations to warn my fellow Malaysians from stepping into the trap of gov cronies....many thanks in advanced. and no need thankme. its been my great pleasure
11. Last but not least, the breakfast a plate of COLD freid rice ( kosong) with one or two thin slices of fish paste, two piece of bread with strawberry jam, a bowl of baked beans and orange cordial drink......
12. last of all, yeah, be patient with me, there's lotsa last of all, da comments on tripadvisxor written are these, appalling, not worth a sent, better sleep on a bench, dont go there.....so i am not exxagerating....if not due to desperation.....i wun make the mistake of not reviewing trip advisor, and should has taken my friends' recommendation

My family stayed at this hotel last year and I came again this year. This is the only choice to stay near Temerloh. But to my surprise, this hotel improves a lot. Carpet looks new.
We booked deluxe room I guess which consist of one double bed and one single bed. We add another extra bed which cost MYR2r0.
As usual, I like having breakfast here. We have laksa, mee kari, nasi lemak, bread n butter of course and also fruits. Not too forget, porridge and 'cekodok'.
Swimming pool is clean but I think they need to improve the outdoor landscape and change the blue bedsheet.

Me and a friend went there merely to send our children to a pre-school carnival in Temerloh, recently. The venue is just next door from the hotel.
I requested for government staff price and we were given a room opposite to the Surau at ground floor. This was the first time for both of us here in the hotel, and here are my impression towards it :
1) malfunction wardrobe.
2) shaky furniture esp. the coffee table.
3) air conditioned was not a satisfactory. It took us more than 30minutes to feel the breeze.
4) the pool was unkept. Dried leaves and chlorine was a bit to strong for the likings.
yes, i had to admit that the surrounding pool area was a bit unkept. mosquitoes were everywhere. I guess because the location is very near to the Pahang river (?) maybe..
5) the shower was dripping as i turn it on, so the pressure to the nozzle was not strong enough.
6) Bedding. Old and lost its elasticity. We could feel the spring-y sensation below our body.

Breakfast spread was ok.
I'm not expecting too much as this is a small hotel indeed.
Front desk officer was warm and friendly.

Oh, by the way..too many cats were around. I even caught a kitten nesting in my engine as i ignite the switch.
Luckily the kitty was safe though. I managed to fish it out before something bad happens.

I think Temerloh ought to have a resort that was pleasant and warm enough to cater the tourist here.
All in all, the hotel is rusted and badly required a major facelift. esp. the bed.

We were travelling by bus and only meant to pass through Temerloh, but as we arrived in Temerloh at midnight, we needed a place to sleep. At first we were glad to find something, but then we were not so happy anymore.. We paid 140 RM for a twin room and that was not worth it at all. This is a lot more than we paid later for better places.. The only thing that was more or less okay was the cleanliness of the bathroom. But other than that it was a disgusting room: the bedsheets were covered with different kinds of stains and there was hair all over it. We ended up sleeping on top of the cover in our silk sleeping bag. (for cases like this, it is very recommendable to carry one like that with you). Also the staff could be friendlier and the breakfast buffet could be richer.

Stayed here for 1 day and 1 day only!
Had to check in somewhere to sleep and rest as I had a conference the next day.
The staff at the reception were uninterested, the place was dark and musty.
The food in the cafeteria was oily and looked stale so I did not try it.
They did not have a lift/escalator so it was stairs all the way.
No porter/bell boy at hand to help with the luggage - one of the staff at the counter did assist to lug some of my luggage up.
The room had a working CRT TV and an aircond.
unfortunately the carpeting, walls, toilet and furniture definately had better days and need to be replaced badly.
The carpeting was a bit musty as well.
Had a good silent sleep as there was nobody else checked in that hotel - or it seemed so, definately empty.
But I will never return there again.
