“Great food at a great price!!”
Reviewed April 24, 2013

Enjoyed dining at Newnan's Fried Tomato Buffet today for the first time, and was VERY impressed. Delicious fried chicken, home cooked veggies, cornbread like mama used to make, awesome desserts, and at a great price. Friendly atmosphere and helpful, courteous hostesses made my dining experience totally awesome!

“Husband is still sick...”
Reviewed April 16, 2013

Ate there yesterday. We have ate at the other local Tomato buffett several years and this was our first time trying the new one in Newnan. Food was good when we were eating it, but a little after we left my husband was in the restroom. He is out of work today still dealing and hurting. Not sure what he ate that got him, but it really has him in pain. Should have picked somewhere else....Waitress (I think Celeste) was outstanding! She should give waitress lessons.

“REALLY GOOD FOOD”
Reviewed April 13, 2013

This place is really a nice surprize to Newnan to finally get a great home cooking type establishment. The service was wonderful, the food is so fresh, and clean, clean, clean!!! Not the normal type buffet, it truly will not let you down. If you are a southern food person the fried chicken and the fried green tomatoes are yummy.. Lots to choose from beginning to end. If you are going on Sunday especially after church get there quick becasue the line gets long

“ADDICTING”
Reviewed April 3, 2013

If you like southern, home cooked meals then this is the place. They have the best fried chicken and fried green tomatoes i have ever had. The baked chicken, rolls, buttermilk cornbread and chicken gizzards are amazing too.....The salad bar is so good and everything is so fresh...the vegtables taste right out of the garden...I have been there 3 times in the past two weeks and only made it to the dessert bar once ! The bananna pudding, upside pineapple cake, cheesecake and bread pudding are to die for !!! You can also fix a plate to go. It is around $4.35 a pound. ex. i got 3 chicken breast, a pork chop and about 8 fried green tomatoes and it was only $8.35. My friend said he will NEVER go back to his favorite (Golden Corral) The menu is different depending on what day of the week it is but always has the fried and baked chicken and fried green tomatoes.

“If you like buffets this is a good one”
Reviewed March 28, 2013

Let me begin by saying I am not a fan of buffets no matter how good they are. I always get the feeling there is a herd/feeding trough mentality among the people that frequent them. However, we recently visited the Fried Tomato Buffet in Newnan and were pleasantly surprised with the taste and quality of the food overall. We visited at dinner time on a Monday night and there was a 30 minute wait so I can only imagine what the weekend's are like. Friday night is seafood night so I would guess that is an extremely busy one. The employees that we encountered were attentive and pleasant. Our favorite foods on the buffet were the fried chicken, fried tomato's, macaroni & cheese, and homemade rolls (you have to be on the lookout for these in order to snatch a couple before they are gone - seems to take them longer to replenish this item than others). The vegetables seemed to at least taste fresh whether they were canned, frozen, or whatever. There was a nice salad bar and all in all an excellent variety of food to choose from. The big let down was in the desserts which all seemed to be pre prepared or at the very least cheaply prepared. But, with all the main and side courses available to fill up on probably most people don't really care much. The menu varies slightly each night with different featured items and the prices are very fair with seniors paying $7.25 and adults $8.25 including drink. There was a discount for small children but I don't remember those prices since my party had all adults. There seemed to be a real effort to keep things clean and neat although this is probably near to impossible with a busy buffet of this type.
