This is a hidden gem....literally hidden. The address number is 33 1/3 and you have to park and find this alley between two old brick buildings. Then, you walk down a long path until you see an old antique screen door. No sign. Nothing indicating what's beyond the creaking door. Once inside, you'll be met by smiling faces and the smell of some serious soul food....fried chicken, ox tails, corn bread, meat loaf, green beans, cakes and pies...whatever is on the chalk menu for the day.
Oh my.....it's good, but PLEASE...Shhhhhhhh.... don't tell too many folks. Let's keep this place our secret!
