We stayed only one night. The room was very clean, nicely furnished and comfort and the vineyards view added to the overall relaxing experience. Breakfast was superb. The young lady at the reception was very accomodating and efficient. If you prefer a countryside hotel over one in Baden Baden this one is a very good possibility.

This is one of the best hotels of its kind in which we have ever stayed. The couple that run the hotel are very helpful and welcoming. All the rooms look out over the adjacent vineyard with the view of the hamlet and Rhite valley beyond. We do not remember a larger double room (that was not classified as a suite).

The restaurant (attached) was ecellent. Not Michelin but great home cooking.

Overall it was difficult to fault this hotel. Perhaps it is due a bit of a refurb.

We recommend it unreservedly.

Room Tip: All rooms overlooking the vineyard. Excellent.

What a find and what a shame we were only able to stay for one night! We arrived after a long journey and received a warm and friendly greeting.

The hotel is in a quiet, residential area, surrounded by vineyards with a view for miles over the valley. Our enormous and spotless room had a private balcony and comfortable beds. In the evening we ate on the restaurant terrace which also looked out over the vineyards. The food and wine were excellent and I can see why it is popular.

Strange that there are no reviews since 2009 - this place is excellent value for money, even the in-room fridge had normal priced drinks!

I hope we get the opportunity to return.

Room Tip: Ask for the 'charming' rooms.

Unfortunately we only had 2 nights at this lovely Hotel. It was the most relaxing beautiful place to stay with views over the vineyards, and the peace and quiet, it all made for a perfect break. The staff were so friendly and helpful, and the food amazing. Dinner out on the terrace watching the sun go down was just the best way to end your day.
Thank you so much to all the staff it really was the best.

Quiet, peaceful, set in vineyards with the Black Forest trees a short walk away. Large room and bed. Comfortable mattress with the softest most luxurious pillows. Fantastic food in a restaurant with views of the vineyards and hills.

We used GPS to find it - a mistake - the directions on the hotel website used fewer straighter roads from the Autobahn
