“Rundown and Mgmt is frustrating”
Reviewed September 13, 2012

The place is rundown no doubt about it- some people appear to live here as there place of residence. When I was there the cops were there two different times. Threadbare blankets, you can feel the springs in the bed, bad cable TV reception and wi fi signal, even the toilet paper is super thin- it is as cheap as you can get- no comfort at all. Oh and the pool was closed- in the middle of summer for good!

Then to top it off after I checked out I realized I left a shoe there. I called to have it sent to me and was told they would not send things as they had in the past and and things had gotten lost in the mail and they did not want to take responsibility. It's a freakin shoe and I live about 5 hours away..Seriously? I told them I would send a pre paid postage label. But then they said they never found the shoe...but I know it is right under the bed- i asked them to please have their housekeeping go check right under the second bed and they refuse to respond. I would stay else where.

We would like to apologize for the unpleasant experience you had with us. We assure you, if we had known you were not comfortable with the room or any other part of your extended stay with us, we would have done everything in our power to make you more comfortable.

When you expressed that you were very happy and every week you were renewing your stay for additional weeks, we got the impression that you had no issues and you did not need to change rooms. Your friendly and understanding nature made us feel that you are also one of our happiest customers. We like to treat all of our long term guests like family and we included you as a part of it.

We are very sorry for not being able to find your shoe. Unfortunately you contacted us about it one week after you checked out of the hotel. Due to a very busy Labor Day weekend, the room that you stayed in was cleaned and rented 4 times again before you contacted us. The housekeeper that cleaned your room originally did not find anything left behind. Also, none of the 4 other guests reported a shoe found in the room. But still, because you are one of our most respected guests, we sent our front desk clerk and housekeeper into the room again to search. After they could not find anything, we sent two maintenance men to move all of the furniture to check behind and under everything and even behind the drawers inside of the dresser just to be safe. Unfortunately, it was too late and we did not find anything. We also called you several times during this process to keep you updated because we understand how important the shoe was to you and how much sentimental value it had, when you told us that it was gifted to you by your grandmother at your graduation. That made us work even harder to find your shoe.

It is our company’s policy not to mail out guest’s belongings because, in doing so, it goes out of our control into a third party’s hands in which case proper delivery becomes unpredictable. But, again, because it was you which our management really liked and respected, we agreed to your request of sending us a prepaid postage label and help you as much as we could.

We assure you we are here to help you as much as we can and are looking forward to serving you again in the future.

This hotel is worse than the cheapest motel you can find. Everything was extremely old, worn and dirty. The towels, blanket, bed sheets were all threadbare. Bed was terrible. Carpet and bath room was dirty. The building was dirty and staff unhelpful. Wifi didn't work. Pool was closed. This place is not a 3 star place. The location didn't look safe with many characters walking around late at night.

I am here while waiting for our home to become available (we relocated due to work from another state) and you can't beat the convienece to atlanta- the highway is right there. The cost is reasonable- wi fi is included, you get a fridge and a microwave. I had a problem with the tv in the first room and they moved me right away without issue. It's safe and really really clean- I have not seen a roach and in Georgia that is saying something since they are everywhere. There is a great younger guy who works the front desk and when I told him I saw some fruit flies he went and took care of the problem right away! The pool is shut down but if you are looking for an affordable place, next to everything, that has a place to do laundry, is clean, and SAFE, this is a great deal!

Room Tip: I would bring your own pillows if you are like me and like big fluffy ones :) and I believe they of...

The staff went above and beyond in caring for our group of nearly 80!!! They were well prepared and organized, and made sure all of our rooms were cleaned each day! The banquet hall was a perfect place for our team meetings and meal times. They were so helpful in assisting us with the logistics of the times for our group. They gave us a great price, and the room furniture was lovely!

Other reviewers talk about new carpet and renovated rooms, but we had the opposite. They must not have renovated all the rooms yet. Everything in our room was old...really old! The toilet/shower/bed seemed clean, but the bed was very hard and old. We could feel the springs. The blanket was very old and worn. There was no remote for the TV. The chair in the room was frayed and very old. The bathroom, while technically clean and no mold was on the grout, was still pretty gross. The pool was covered over with a tarp (in July) and so was unusable. The internet wouldn't connect in the room, we didn't try in the lobby. They did not offer breakfast. It was very hard to find from the exit. There were no signs from the street - they must rely on priceline bookings from people that book prior to seeing the hotel. We paid $55 on priceline, the hotel only got $30 after Priceline's commission. The regular price for their rooms we found out were only $39, so we actually paid more than we should have. The room we stayed in wasn't worth $30.

Room Tip: Ask to see it before you pay.

Dear Guest,
I apologize that your experience with us did not meet your satisfaction. Providing service to our guests is our number one priority. We want to encourage guests to let us know if they would like to change their room type. We are always happy to work with you to find a room that better suits your needs. We apologize for the pool being closed. Unfortunately we had some unforeseen circumstances cause us to not be able to open the pool. We hope you will come back to our hotel and look forward to hosting you again.

This is a fabulous well run, clean hotel for families. We were in town for a week for a baseball tournament and loved the spacious lobby, large pool, updated rooms and great location. Norma the manager and her staff were polite and helpful!
