This used to be one of our regular haunts when Mike was the owner. The new owner is very rude and should not be in the restaurant business. The food is lousy and the drinks overpriced and who wants to spend money and eat off paper plates. There are 2 main rules in the restaurant business. 1) BE NICE TO YOUR CUSTOMERS and 2) Charge a fair price for decent food served on plates not made from paper.( Is this a McDonalds?) Hemingways accomplishes neither. Save your money and go to Johnnie McCrackens.

We love to see live music... and Hemingway's is a great place to see local bands. The drinks are small and expensive so be sure to "Pre-game" before you go.

Great spot right on the square to enjoy the fall weather. The drinks were fine but the food was terrible. Both my wife and her sister ordered the Philly cheese steak sandwich and neither of them could take more than a few bites. My brother-in-law (who eats ANYTHING) and I both agreed it was pretty bad. The meat was cut thick and unseasoned - very bland sandwich. It should be taken off the menu. I'm not sure about the plastic utensils and plates - I find this very odd for a restaurant that doesn't have a clown as its mascot.

This is sadly not a place to go for the food. Sad because outdoor sitting without being on a sidewalk or parking lot, is a rarity in Marietta. Here it's in a pedestrian street, and despite the train tracks nearby, it's really great for outdoor relaxing. But come here for a drink, or a snack, not for the food.

Calamari and Clams were greasy, to the point the grease was dripping from the basket. Chili burger was dry and flavorless. Other sandwiches (there were 6 of us) were nothing memorable.

I first thought the plastic beer cup was because we were sitting outside (possibility of broken glass), until our food was served on plastic along with plastic utensils. Really?! We did, however, get to talk over the loud music they blared while also "enjoying" the three loud freight trains (in less than one hour's time) that pass no more than 30 yards from the outside seating area.

The food was fair to good and our waitress was great, but this was a one-timer for us.
