“Much improved”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 15, 2014

This is a great little gem in East Cobb. Atmosphere is great ... based of a St.Simons, southern coastal style menu. I had the flounder and my wife had a fantastic seafood dish with muscles, shrimp, fish, and sausage.

Not many folks know they got a new chef recently which explains the boost in popularity and the upgraded menu.

Several people recommended trying the Monday seafood boil. Looking forward to that. The owners also own Muss & Turners and Local Three, so it's nice to have the buckhead/vinings flavor up in East Cobb.

“Very Unusual - Very Different From Other Restaurants in Area”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 11, 2014

Very convenient location off of Johnson Ferry Road in East Cobb. The menu was probably the most unusual one we've ever seen. Almost nothing i recognized and the descriptions made me wonder if we should pick up and leave. After much thinking and talking with the knowledgeable server we decided to stay and to order. Hmmm, the food was much better than the descriptions would indicate. According to the server the restaurant focuses on locally grown products and only uses those in season that they can get fresh, never frozen. If you are the adverturous type and enjoy new experiences this is the place for you. I will give a shout out to the server - very patient and provided us with the knowledge to make choices. And, to the chef - very good indeed. They do need to redo the seating to make it more intimate.

“Small menu, good food”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 5, 2014

We visited with a party of 8 and received very good service. I thought the menu was quite limited, but it was fresh and good, all the same (although a little pricey.)

“Great for brunch”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 16, 2014 via mobile

Enjoyed atmosphere and items on brunch menu. Very satisfied with pimento pickle cheese appetizer, bananas foster French toast, Nashville chicken , and crab cake entrees Great service recommend reservations because it got crowded very quickly at noon. Easier to find with new signage.

“East Cobb Winner”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 9, 2014 via mobile

was told by my neighbor that this was a must try, so for our anniversary, we gave it a shot.
First, for those familiar with Muss & Turners in Smyrna, this is their restaurant.
The menu here is seasonal. Winter 2014 was ours.
We started with the black pea hummus with pita. No complaints.
For entrée, I had the cobia with broccoli and mushrooms over grits. The grits were ridiculously tasty. I was satisfied.
My wife had the BBQ pork shoulder. She enjoyed it, but it wasn't great. We took the rest of the portion home.
For dessert, we split the peanut butter pie. Wow. Excellent.
Overall, good place to eat and prices reasonable. We'll be back for next menu.
