We had one of their breakfast specials ($6.95), which was large enough for two. They have a very large menu and a large seating area. The place was very clean and the service was excellent. We will definitely go back there again and again.

Generous portions, reasonable prices, nearly anything you can imagine! Wonderful! The desserts are to die for! One slice of cake fills the whole plate, not just a dessert plate either! Always crowded, but seated in no time. You will definitely go back!

You walk in...it's ordinary..but smells devine!! We were tired and had been to Atlanta, GA
shopping in and out of the rain all day long. We were at our near by hotel and the shuttle
driver came past and asked if we had ever been to THE DINER. We said, No. He said,
you have got to go. It is open all day and night and has the best pie you will ever put in
your mouth. We said, OKAY and away we went. Like I said, it was ordinary but CROWDED.
Even late at night. Well, late for three old gals. We all had different types of pie. Shut your
mouth and slap your momma, what pie. The crust melted in your mouth...had to be crisco
from my childhood. No low fat, low carbs here just spoon fulls of delicouslyness. We shared
and practically licked the plates. That was such a good experience. You better go if you are
in Marietta.

We loved this restaurant. We found it because of Triple D. Whenever we go to Florida this is just part of the trip. We have always stopped to dinner but on this trip we stayed overnight and had breakfast. It was probably one of the best breakfasts we have every had. The homemade sliced fried potatoes were fantastic. Next time I will just make a meal of the potatoes.

Our college age grandaughter requested we take her to one of her favorite places, Marietta Diner, for her birthday Saturday. We went mid-afternoon to avoid the crowds but they beat us there. We waited about 15 minutes to be seated and looked over the extensive menu as we waited. When seated, our waiter was immediately at our table to take our drink orders and returned promptly with them. He answered all our questions about the menu items in which we were interested; low carb, vegan and teenage eaters all at one table. I am the vegan and had the butternut squash ravioli with a side of eggplant, matza ball soup, Greek salad with no feta cheese and bread. The soup was yummy, the salad very generous and the butternut ravioli to die for. I had the last small piece of apple pie in the restaurant and was only charged $1 for it since all of the cakes and pastries had milk products of some kind. The low carbers were very happy with there choices and all had geneous portions and leftovers to take with. My grandaughter had to have the "squirrel moose" for dessert, which she got "to go". Food, service, atmosphere and value were very good. We continue to rate this restaurant as one of our favorite family restaurants to celebrate birthdays and special occasions in all of Atlanta and surrounding area.
