Started off here w/ food & drinks before heading to tailgate at Braves game. Had cheesy bread, pizza, & flatwich & plenty of cold Sweetwater. Everything was very good. Hard to go wrong w/ so many options. Service was very slow & seemed unorganized which was strange since it wasn't busy at all. Had a good time & will probably be back.

There's nothing pretentious about this pizza bar hangout. Located in an unassuming strip mall, you might miss it if you didn't know it was there. They feature a well stocked bar with friendly service and competent tenders. The waitstaff is attentive.

The pizza is very good. I've found that they do specialty pizza quite well, but the standard cheese or pepperoni is better than average, but not exceptional. Pizza is served on paper topped metal plates, as pizza should be. The specialty pizzas are flavorful and some of the best offered in metro Atlanta.

The menu goes beyond pizza with your typical tavern style offerings, although they don't particularly shine with any of them. The flatwiches are interesting, and can be quite good. (Think pizza dough instead of bread).

I think a few of their appetizers are worth the trip. The portabella mushrooms are excellent, and the tomato caprese is fresh tasting.

Blue Moon can get crowded, which is great for them, but can then be awfully noisy. Accordingly, if you're out for a date, perhaps consider an off peak time. Call ahead and ask.

This is not your "neighborhood pizza joint" and that's a really good thing. With good pizza, a great bar, and enough solid non-pizza offerings to please almost anyone, Blue Moon is far from "ordinary" and a nice alternative to the "family night" hangout.

We would have given this pizza 4 stars except the pizza arrived cold. The sauce and toppings were tasty and good.
Their prices are extremely reasonable.

We tried Blue Moon Pizza for the first time. The pizza was excellent and the service was outstanding. Loved the experience. Only downside is it seemed a tad bit expensive. But we will go out of our way to eat here again. Ask for Toby - he was our waiter and was excellent.

The Buckhead location is the one I visit and it is not listed on here. This is a great place mixing a family environment with a low key bar at one end with TVs for sporting events. The pizza is delicious.
