“Fish so fresh you'll think you are on the coast!”
Reviewed July 15, 2012

Fish tacos, oysters lomi lomi, salmon, crabcakes and of course the best martini's on the block! Don't miss their jerk chicken and pasta yaya. Finish it off with the key lime pie and you will have had the meal of the life time!

“Try the fish tacos!”
Reviewed May 28, 2012

Willie Rae's is one of my favorite places to eat on the Marietta Square. Good Southern-Cajun food, great location on the picturesque Marietta Square. Tiny restaurant adjacent to its sister restaurant, Simpaticos (which is more elegant dining and accessible on the interior through a shared doorway.) Willie Rae's is small, long, and narrow, with the bar dominating the front area. Tables in the front area or the small seating area in the back are preferable to those alongside the kitchen opening corridor, which can be noisy and has lots of traffic - waitstaff and also patrons going to the restroom in the rear. My all-time favorite dish there is the fish tacos - have tried them all over Atlanta and Willie Rae's are the best. Must be the special sauce. My husband loves the Pasta YaYa. Table service can be good or not so, depending on the crowd. One problem I have is that you always must ask for rolls - sometimes twice! The food always arrives without delay though. But it does get crazy-busy at times. A fun eclectic atmosphere, with an odd but interesting assortment of paintings covering the walls. The location is wonderful - you can enjoy dinner and then walk into the Square across the street. If you want a view while you eat, try the one table in the front window! Reservations accepted but not mandatory.

“Funky bayou”
Reviewed January 28, 2012

Fish tacos, oyster tasso salad...just a couple of things that make WIllie Rae's very satisfying to visit. Coupled with its great location on Marietta's lovely town square (especially on a beautiful day that allows you to sit outside), Willie Rae's menu makes for a fun meal. If you dine indoors, the profusion of artwork (all for sale) on every available inch of wall space gives the place a bit of a funky feel. Very enjoyable.

“Comfort food on the Marietta square”
Reviewed July 28, 2011

Willie Rae's is a reliable, friendly and familiar place to enjoy fish tacos, cajun specialties, vegetable plates or a burger - right on the Marietta square. Perfect for a light meal and beer or a glass of wine before taking in a show at the Strand.

“Great Value for A Big Business Group”
Reviewed February 7, 2010

My company was there on business. The food was fantastic. We had our share of authentic Southern American food: fried green tomatoes etc.

It was average and nothing to write home about.
