I've dined here about 3 times so far and every time service and food have been great. Love the spinach ravioli!

“Overpriced and ho hum.”
Reviewed April 18, 2014 via mobile

We went for the first time last night. We were pleased to see a nice decor inside upon entering, but the hostess was rather ho hum. We were informed at our table that there would be a server in training waiting on us, which turned out to be less than optimal. Menu is too pricey. We had humus, soup and salad, tea. Bill was $60 for two. Servings were ridiculously small at high prices. Service far too informal for the decor and prices.

“Hidden gem great value”
Reviewed March 16, 2014

Delicious Italian style food with a twist. The bruschetta appetizer had a tasty hint of feta and balsamic drizzle. The shrimp scampi and chicken francese were done to perfection. Last and most importantly the service and ambience were excellent. Save room for dessert! We'll definitely return next time we pass through Atlanta.

“Great Food, Bad Location”
Reviewed March 15, 2014

My wife and I have eaten here twice over the last month or so, once for mid-week dinner and once for Sunday brunch. Both times, we were extremely pleased with both of our meals. The fresh, baked in-house bread was great, and set a bar which the rest of the meal met. We started off with the Bruschetta for dinner, which was excellent. The entrees were stellar. My 50/50 Cosmo Burger (beef and chorizo) was delicious and perfectly prepped (though the flavorless cookie-cutter fries seemed to be of the bagged variety) and my wife enjoyed her mushroom risotto (though it was a bit sweet and slightly soupy). Dessert-to-go was a nice slice of in-house strawberry shortcake. It was good, if just slightly dry (possibly from sitting in the display cooler a bit too long). Drink selection is great, including a good list of local and craft brews and an expansive list of wine.
Brunch was just as nice. Homemade corned beef hash was amazing, Venice Beach eggs benedict was awesome, and my wife's omelet was prepared to perfection. Sides were also enjoyable, and the complement of mimosa's and a latte hit the spot (though, no flavors available for said latte...straight up or not at all).
The prices are very reasonable as well, which comes as a surprise due to the elegance of the interior and the name of the place, itself.
The killer for this place is the location. I can see why the owners chose it, utilizing an old Spaghetti Warehouse building surrounded by a number of hotels (Drury, Courtyard, Ramada). However, the area is just not ideal. Across the street is a Jiffy Lube and a Taco Bell, and McDonalds is down the street, and the off-ramp area is littered with multiple gas stations as well. It just doesn't scream "area for a nice restaurant." Sure, the hotel business should help keep the place afloat. But, it doesn't seem like the crowds are flocking. We were basically alone for a Wednesday night dinner at 7, and Sunday brunch included us an 9 of our best unknown brunch companions.
I like the Cosmo, and even the bar area looks like a great place to meet up for a few drinks with friends. But, I fear the location will be it's biggest detractor, not something than can be easily corrected. There's nothing wrong with it, per se, but we have had a few friends notice the new place but not pay it much attention due to the area (thinking it wasn't worth trying). Seems to be a case of judgement based on the surrounding crowd. Unfair, but definitely a concern.

“Good brunch”
Reviewed March 14, 2014

We have been here twice for Sunday brunch and have had a nice time. The food was generally good, but both times they were out of their banana bread french toast. We thought it was a little strange that they ran out of this item both times we have visited. The atmosphere and service were both good. We would like to try this place for dinner sometime and compare the experiences and food. During our most recent visit, the waitress even treated us to two free desserts. We thought that was really nice.
