The Red Eyed Mule is an old hole in the wall with the best burgers in Marietta. It was actually reviewed by by Alton Brown on the Food Networks "Best Thing I Ever Ate".

The burgers are messy, but tasty. The building is very small and is always packed so be prepared to feel smothered by other customers.

They close around 2 PM every day, and are closed on Sundays.

I had an egg, bacon biscuit that was so big and delicious. My husband ordered the smoked meatloaf sandwich with fries and it was unbelievable. So delicious but it's inky a special every few weeks. Love the atmosphere here! We will be back!

Have been a long term customer and used to rave about this place. As much as I like the owners (and have given them the benefit of the doubt), something just isn't the same. Food not as good, service just barely above average. It's not that its *bad* or anything -- it's just nowhere near as good as it once was.

Met at the door by the owner who described her food with the skill and eloquence of a chef judge! And she would know as the Red Eyed Mule was featured on Food Network. Even has a velvet painting of Alton Brown. Don't be fooled by the building and the kooky, whimsical Harley décor - this place is great! No stuffy white linen table cloths or snooty waiters. Just creative simple cooking cooked gourmet. Confusing? No worry. Go check it out for yourself. I got the soup of the day which was a chicken with risotto and a side of crispy cornbread. What a delightful surprise that it was the best EVER! Try to go - Oh, and the biscuits are perfect.
Easy to get to from I-75 if you are passing through.

This is one of the best little restaurants in Marietta. The food is tasty, whether you have a burger, the BLT, the chicken salad sandwich or one of the specials of the day you will not be disappointed. The fries and onions rings are excellent as well, not over or under cooked. The atmosphere is family friendly and feels like you are near friends when you sit inside or even out on the patio. I have been here several times and will continue to come by for lunch and recommend to my friends. I need to stop by for breakfast sometime soon.
