“Great Restaurant in Marietta”
Reviewed December 5, 2013

Very Impressed. Party of 8 for dinner in Marietta - food farm to table, very fresh and gourmet. Much needed addition to Marietta. Had a semi-private room, which was great -- Call ahead. Salads were fantastic, we ordered a lot of appetizers, too. Signature, award-winning cocktail - was great. We had chicken, pork, beef, a burger, and the fish sandwich and everyone's food was great. Desserts were wonderful too. Cannot say enough good things.

“What an incredible place!”
Reviewed December 3, 2013 via mobile

Everything single thing I tasted last Sunday evening at Seed was extraordinary. That included the butternut squash soup, butter lettuce salad, roasted cauliflower and caramelized brussels sprouts. However, the chicken schnitzel and the tres leches cake were absolutely magical. Cannot wait to go back.

“Out of towner - newbe and loved it.”
Reviewed December 2, 2013

This was my first time actually staying in or around Atlanta and not just changing planes.
We were visiting my brother-in-law for Thanksgiving who lives in Marietta.
About a half an hour out of Atlanta.

Thanksgiving was wonderful and as it turns out it was my nephew's 23 birthday.
The restaurant was very clean, beautifully lit, and well decorated. Contemporary without being too sparse and cold. The service was excellent , the wait staff friendly, courteous and prompt. Very professional. I had the steak and it was delicious and apparently so was everyone else's meal.
My brother - in - law paid so I'm not sure what the bill was, but the menu looked quite reasonable. It was a great night out. Would highly recommended in you live in that area or are visiting.

“Consistently Excellent”
Reviewed November 25, 2013

Since it's opening last year, my wife and I have enjoyed the opportunity to dine at Seed Kitchen and Bar on many occasions. We find the food, service and value to be consistently excellent. The waitstaff, bartenders and managers are courteous, well informed, attentive and uniformly with a "Can do" attitude! The head chef, Doug Turbush, is quite creative and offers an inspired array of cuisines, although many with somewhat of a southern flare, often features specials that offer creative dishes that often go "outside the box". The mix of appetizers, small plates and full sized portions change seasonally, are very flavorful, making it often difficult to choose between them, and for us makes sharing "a must"! The fish is always fresh and cooked to perfection. The beef and seafood are superb. For us, no meal is complete without the caramelized brussels sprouts & cauliflower (ridiculously good!) The sandwiches are very tasty, especially the Merchant Burger, which is "off the chain" delicious! Given the portion size and high quality of the dishes, I believe the price break is quite reasonable. The wine list offers a wide variety of choices, especially by the glass, and the mixed-drink selections are quite creative and unique. We have twice made reservations with a larger party size for special occasions and have always been uniformly delighted with the evening's festivities. We continue to come back for more!

I enjoyed having lunch with a girl friend at Seed Kitchen & Bar last week. The atmosphere is upscale and I enjoyed the bar area for a quick bite.
The menu selection was varied and interesting. The choices are good for foodies.
