good food, good shopping and great pubs. I like the cider ale... live music and a nice small town feel

Love the square. So much history there both natural and personal. Love the atmosphere of all the shops and restaurants. Have worked close by for several years and visit frequently. Great Italian restaurant. Concerts in summer are lots of fun!

The Marietta is a small but quaint place to go and walk. It is small, one small city block and has a small play area in for smaller children in a train shape. The shopping is generally overpriced. But they have a nice hippy style coffee shop nearby. Don't expect centennial Olympic park, that is not what it is. Just a quaint small town park with a fountain and a gazebo and shopping all around. I really enjoy going out there in the evening and just sitting back. It was really nice when my kids were small. We could walk around and they would play. But now that they are teens, we go get a cup of coffee or ice cream and just sit on a bench and people watch.

Lots of shops and eating places. There is a park in the middle of the square. Various things to do and see. Also a ghost tour available

If you want to get outdoors and walk around this is perfect. In the way of shopping its terrible, better shopping at a flea market. There are a couple of nice musems, "Gone with the Wind" and one other. The place is old and not maintained well. Shillings is one of the better places to dine. Other than that you could skip it altogether and spend time doing something anything else.
