If you love shrimp, this is the restaurant for you. Kenny, the Chef, only serves fresh shrimp and he knows how to cook them. Fried is his speciality as he has a "secret" recipe, but we also love his steamed platter.
The menu also includes oysters and fish and for the non-fish lovers, a few "land" items, but we also stick to his shrimp.
Kenny has had several restaurants throughout his career in Madison, Georgia, and he always seems to hit the mark and not disappoint. He's also one of those restauranteers that is supportive of the community which is such a plus.
If you are traveling, don't miss this restaurant when in Madison and don't be turned away by the building. It doesn't look like much from the outside but there is an experienced Chef on the inside. No beer or wine, just downhome iced tea! Give it a try, if you haven't already.
