When we arrived, around Noon on Saturday, the tables were half full . Out of about 10 unoccupied tables, 8 were dirty, covered in dishes. Our waitress was the only one that would grab things on the way back to the kitchen. One guy never picked up a thing & the other guy only did when he needed to seat someone. The owner walked thru twice, looking across the dining room & kept right on going. This table was covered when we walked in ans still covered when we left. Food pretty good, but who wants to eat surrounded by filthy tables!?!

Great service and food was amazing. I had a ribeye and my husband had a rack of lamb. Incredible food, worth the price. Ambiance was nice as well.

Town 220 is in the Market behind the James Madison Inn so it was convenient for us since we were staying at the Inn. The restaurant is open with a high ceiling and large windows and features a kitchen behind glass so you can watch meals being prepared. The service was good and professional and the food was good and reasonably priced. There was a nice variety on the menu from steaks to pasta and seafood.

Simple but varied menu of well prepared starters and entrees.... There were 3 of us and we each had one of the specials (2 seafood and 1 chicken dish) for the evening as well as the soup of the day each plus a cocktail a piece.... Great taste and service at $100 total. Ask for Richard, excellent waiter...

The location was next to our hotel and we had a coupon from the hotel for free wine, so easy choice for dinner. There is no greeter station, so it seemed that whoever happened to notice that they had new customers took that responsibility. Unfortunately, we watched many people look at us, and later, to other customers, then continue to chat with their peers, before someone would finally grab some menus and show people to their table. After that, service was okay. Food wasn't exceptional, but it was okay. The poor greeting set the stage for a bad experience however.
