“Nice new venue with good atmosphere”
Reviewed May 18, 2013 via mobile

Went here with friends for a bite to eat for a friends birthday, no reservations on a mid-weeknight, and we were easily accommodated. The bistro is quite nice with large seating and has a pleasant atmosphere. Meals are all per-paid for at the counter. I ordered the jumbo scallops which came with three generous scallops wrapped with prosciutto and two slices of fried holoumi cheese with a salad atop, all was very nice and quite a generous serving. The girls each ordered the pork belly that came with a potato rosti, the remarked the rosti being slightly undercooked but that the pork belly was delish!

Certainly worth checking out if you're in the area as somewhere new to try.

“A bit pricey ...”
Reviewed April 8, 2013

Well I was so happy to finally get a bistro in our area .. Firstly the decor is pleasant but i must say a bit dull could do with something not sure sort of looks like the kingsways bar and bistro ... I Went for lunch and after looking at the menu decided on salt n pepper squid ..This was Nice and tender.. My friend ordered a parmigiana. This was $29.50 and was very average for the price .. Really think that a parmigiana should be about $25 not nearly $30 .. All in all not really to impressed with the menu .. But hopefully that will change from time to time and they review there prices as I did think it was a bit pricey for a tavern / bistro
