We have always loved Noah's Ark. My family actually prefers it over the bigger zoo in Atl. It's a very peaceful walk with a large variety if animals. They have picnic tables & a play ground. Extra bonus-your support through donation (as they don't charge an entry fee), keeps them open to provide rehabilitation and a safe habitat for animals in need. WIN-WIN!

I had heard about this so looked it up on FB. We look forward to all the posts , so when deciding where to go on spring break it was unanimous, even though it was a 3 1/2 hour drive from Montgomery. When we visited with our granddaughters, we had an awesome volunteer that walked around with us and told us a little about the history, all the animals' names. It was truly worth the trip even though it was a cold and windy day during spring break. Hate can't remember her name, because the girls were thrilled with all that she showed and told them.
Look forward to coming back again. She made the tour much more enjoyable than just going by ourselves.
Great trip!!

My wife has been supporting Noah's Arc for many years, but it wasn't until recently that we were able to make the 3-1/2 hour trip. We checked them out on their website and it was exactly as described, except better! We called and spoke with a very helpful and pleasant Keeper at the rehab center and make advance arrangement for a private tour. We paid dearly for the private tour but it was outstanding, led by an experienced and personable Keeper, and worth every penny! The animals are clearly being well-cared for and the grounds are very nice. The BLT bear came over to greet us and to get a giant marsh mellow from the Keeper. The BLT lion was sleeping on his porch and the tiger was not seen. We still had a wonderful visit. THIS IS A VERY WORTHY SANCTUARY and deserves your support!!! Sturdy walking shoes are recommended, as is clothing for the out of doors weather. We arrived the night before and stayed at the nearby La Quinta, so that we were able to do the private tour the next morning; we recommend this if you have any distance to drive to get to the Sanctuary.

We were planning on stopping by here on our way back to the airport. We drove all the way out to find that they were closed on Sundays and Mondays! My kids were really disappointed, and I was shocked that they would close any days considering they need the donations to stay open. Sorry we missed BLT. It looked like a very nice setup from the outside.
