The area is getting worn down but it is still a good place for little kids
to see some animals and better than the zoo

Great place for kids to see small animals up close. Bring Carrots and apples or buy them at the store before you go in. Pet the bunnies, get followed by ducks, find the deer. Great place for little kids.

I took my grandson here and he loved it. This was his first real outing as he is only 17 months old and he loved being able to interact with some of the animals. He feed some deer and goats and was not even afraid. My only suggestion is to go very early in the morning because later in the day the animals are full and very tired. Remember to bring your own animal crackers, carrots, celery and even some lettuce. Wal-Mart has a huge bag of animal crackers for under $2.50. This will save you a lot of money. The grounds were very well shaded and even though it was hot you did not feel it. My only complaint is that they did not have a changing table in the rest rooms so be sure your little ones aredry before you go in.

Go on a weekday morning. Afternoon is when animals are already full and napping. Bring your own carrots, celery, peanuts, and graham crackers to save money.
