A number of nice touches at this B&B, Shortbread and a nice big cup of tea when you arrive, board games in the room, happy to work around your schedule and producing a lovely breakfast each day. Fresh milk for drinks was generally available from a small fridge near the room and as for the room itself, no complaints. Lovely decor and a comfortable bed and soft-furnishings.

Was slightly disquieted by the 'retail opportunities' in-room, from cosmetics to a mini-bar of various items. As these were also all available in the breakfast room or from the landing fridge, it seemed a little excessive when already paying a decent price for the room. However, a decent selection of free hot-drink options were provided (though, strangely no decaff coffee)

As mentioned before, breakfast was indeed lovely, but did involve whoever was arriving sat along a shared table. Our fellow guests were lovely to chat to, but if you're not a chatty sort, then it could feel a little cramped, and it seemed a shame to be unable to eat whilst enjoying the view of the lovely garden.

Overall, location is great, it's at the junction of the Henley/Dorchester/Wallingford roads so would seem busy, but we heard no real noise from the other side of the house. Paul is a great host, always eager to help, so I'd definitely recommend this great little B&B.

Room Tip: Take care on the stairs in slippy shoes!

We stayed for one night for a wedding which was at a local hotel that was fully booked. We booked the 2 double rooms for 2 couples. The rooms were of a very good standard, a decent size, clean, well decorated, tea/coffee facilities, toileties actually there is not much more they could put in the room that you would require. On arrival Paul gave us a very warm welcome with tea and shortbread biscuits. The house itself is set back slightly from the road and is very quiet and parking on the frontage was available. There was a very wide choice for breakfast cooked fresh to order and was delicious. We would all definitely stay here again.

Place was spotless, nice and festive (snow laid on specially for the chiristmas season?) and welcoming. All facilities expected in this price range were available and more. Top-rate breakfast. . . no hesitation in recommending this place.

We stayed for one night on our way to Oxford. Little Gables was refurbished about a year ago, with the result that the room was of a very good standard, a decent size, clean, well decorated and with lovely soft towels. Paul, the owner, gave us a very warm welcome with tea and scrumptious shortbread and helpfully gave dinner recommendations. The house itself is set back slightly from the road and is very quiet. There was a very wide choice for breakfast, cooked fresh to order. We would definitely stay here again.

This B&B is superbly run. We were welcomed with fresh coffee, cake and the offer of drying our wet gear (we were on a walking holiday). Our twin room was very spacious, spotlessly clean and with a nice touch of snacks, wine and beer if wanted (honesty envelope to pay the reasonable prices).

We felt well and truly pampered but without being fussed over - the owners have got the balance just right!
