We loved this park. We paid a little extra for a "waterfront" campsite and my advice to any future visitors would be: drive around and see what's available b/4 setting up camp. The campsites are first come, first serve and we were afraid it would fill up quickly, so we grabbed the first waterfront site we came to and then discovered far better sites the next day. The bathhouses were super clean and stocked. I didn't see a single bug inside. The camping area was filled with families and older couples, so there was never a problem with noise or after-hours partying. There's a geocache hidden along the muscadine trail, but don't go searching for it without the smart phone app. I highly recommend driving about 15mi northeast to Toccoa Falls. You do have to pay a small fee, but it is well worth it!!
