We stayed at the hotel May 10th & 11th with very nice clean room and no problems. The breakfast in the morning was nice extra touch. It is right next door to a Cracker Barrel Restaurant and close to shopping.

Joe 5/12

Room Tip: Right off the interstate and close to several places in the area.

We stayed overnight, while traveling to Florida. We booked a regular King room which was clean, quiet and had a comfy bed for our one night stay. We didn't use the pool or the exercise facilities. The public areas seemed clean and we had a quick breakfast at the hotel breakfast buffet before heading off. The day we were there, the breakfast buffet was crowded and there were many younger kids swarming the waffle maker, so we opted not to stand in line for that. I am surprised there isn't an age requirement on use of the waffle maker, as I could see that the children could have easily burned themselves. Not sure where their parents were. I've had better offerings at some Hampton breakfast buffets before, but this one was adequate to get us on our way. Had we wanted a large breakfast, we could have gone next door to the Cracker Barrel, which is a plus.

Room Tip: Ask for a room away from the atrium. Many rooms overlook public areas of the atrium and it could be...

We booked a king suite, which was the size of a small one bedroom apartment and a great value for the price. The room itself was very clean, including the bathroom, but sadly in need of renovation. In fact, the minute we stepped into the lobby we were hit with a musty smell. The bathroom was fairly large with plenty of counter space. On the downside, it was poorly lit and had an old jacuzzi with fairly high sides for the shower, which could make it difficult for some to take a shower. The front desk staff were all very friendly and welcoming, which I can't say for the breakfast staff, who started clearing up 10-15 minutes before breakfast was scheduled to end. The layout itself was poor, being laid out on 2 different counters with tables of people between. There was not nearly enough seating; we were fortunate in that another couple offered to share their table with us. The waffles were extremely popular, so much so that they should add a second waffle maker, for there was quite a line for the one machine. I also want to make two suggestions to the breakfast choices: sugar-free syrup for diabetics and no grapefruit in the fruit salad, as there are plenty of medications being used with a warning label on them to avoid grapefruit. Hampton Inns are usually one of our favorite hotels, but we would only stay here again after ruling out different options.

Zero WiFi in room 310. The only place I found a connection was in the lobby area.
Breakfast was also sub par for the brand. I would not stay here again.

Suppertime arrival and the staff has our room assigned and we checked in just like that. Staff help us find a non chain place to eat supper as well as a place to buy some beverages for our room.

Public areas of the hotel are very clean and our room is spacious and comfy for our one nite stay.

The Ragin Cajin was recommended by the hotel staff. as a place to eat that was not a chain.

Internet, breakfast and fast am checkout are advertised.

Room Tip: Great location for the south bound drive to Florida.

Overnight stop while traveling north...Had hoped to get in a good workout after driving all day...all 3 pieces of equipment in the Fitness Center were out of order. Even the clock was stopped....
Staff members were courteous; breakfast was average.
