Best barbeque anywhere! Meat is very moist and a good barbeque taste. Stew is very good also.
Small town atmosphere.

“Best in Class, likely best in Georgia”
Reviewed January 17, 2013

This is an old style, family owned barbeque stand, the type that used to be found all over the south. I have been eating here since the 1970's. The menu is limited, though they have just added ribs and chicken --which I hear are great. you can also get the sandwhich with end cuts, if you want some more of the char. Most folks get food to go or to eat in the car. They do have a small dinning area adjacent to the "stand."
The pork is why you come, though the stew and cole slaw are also good. The price is right, the service fast, the folks friendly. Dean's is worth a trip.

“Good BBQ”
Reviewed October 20, 2012

I don't know how long it's been there but I've been eating Dean's BBQ since the 60's. You don't stay in business 40+ years and not be good. Although they do have a dining area it's basically a take out restaurant. In fact at one time it was a drive in restaurant; complete with trays that attach to your car window and car hops. Doesn't have much in the way of ambiance but they have excellent BBQ and stew. Pit is adjacent to the restaurant so you can smell the hams cooking when you arrive. Very limited menu consisting mainly of BBQ, stew, chips, drinks and home made pies. If you are looking for good BBQ Dean's is the ticket.

“Great BBQ”
Reviewed August 4, 2012 via mobile

My husband and I love BBQ and have eaten at many of Georgia's finest. Their pork is fabulous. It is so tender and their sauce is unique and delicious. If you're traveling on I-75, south of Atlanta, and want some great BBQ, it's well worth the short trip off the interstate

Dean's is nothing fancy, but the sandwiches are delicious! They make a quick lunch or I buy a pound of Q for take home for a easy dinner.
