How often do you look at turtles and never give them a second thought? Unless you're watching Finding Nemo for the umpteenth time. Go to this Turtle Centre and that will change forever. Great educational experience for children and adults. Staff is committed to making a difference and we can help with a financial donation. The determination of these little creatures to survive against all odds is inspirational.

My five year old loved being able to see an actual surgery being done on a loggerhead who had been attacked by a shark!

Watching honey be used as an antiseptic and bonding agent as well as touring the tanks and gaining insight into the plight of these magnificent creatures was well worth the tiny admission cost!

My wife and I arrived at the Turtle Center 20 minutes before they were touring the rehab center so we went in to browse before the tour. We were blown away by the great work they do here. I would recommend the Turtle Centaer as a must visit for anyone but especially for Families with young childern in school.

It only took about an hour to go through the educational section and meet the turtle patients in the rehab center. The way they take you through the life of a sea turtle is clever, as mentioned, and full of information. I found the visit to the hospital to be the most interesting part. All of the "patients" are introduced and their injury/illness described as well as their treatment. Each turtle in the hospital is either released back into the ocean or, if they cannot be released, sent to an aquarium. This is well worth the small admission fee.

Visited in between soccer games on the island. The exhibits were very colorful and informative. The rescue center had twenty or so turtles in various stages of rehab. The staff did a great job of presenting the turtles. The whole visit took an hour. Well worth the price of admission.
