We had a great time. The guided tour was expensive but the kids liked it and learned a lot. Our tour guide was outstanding.

I've seen lots of reviews complaining about how small it is and that it's not worth your time. Yes it is small but it's very worth your time. They have a cute little exhibit and gift shop. The turtle hospital is wonderful. We got to see so many turtles. And the staff and volunteers will answer any question you or your children may have. It's only $7 and helps a great cause.

Not a big place, but pleasant and informative. You can view procedures being performed on the turtles through the window. Then you can go out to the rehab. building and see the turtles. We enjoyed our visit and felt $7 a person was reasonable.

Our party of three visited on Sunday, August 4th. Two members of our group have been actively involved for several past summers in sea turtle conservation on remote Georgia barrier islands. They were highly impressed with this wonderful place. The exhibits are child-friendly but interesting enough for all ages. Many of the stations are "hands on" and great for children. The conservation center also features a building housing turtles rescued and waiting to be released back into the sea. The turtle center is located in the historic district and open every day. There are discounts for seniors, teachers, and a number of other professions. The center has a gift shop. Anyone interested in our environment and the dangers sea turtles face should include this center in their itinerary.

Awesome work to save the Turtles! Great educational and hands on experiences with Sea Turtles. Take a nesting tour as well as a tour of the turtle hospital.
