On visits to the Southeast Georgia coast, we often stop at the Jekyll Island Club Dining Room for lunch or Sunday brunch. We have never been disappointed! This time was no exception. On our trip home from Florida in early December, we hoped that we would find the hotel decorated in its special Victorian way. We entered a scene of Christmas trees, wreaths and garland reflecting the atmosphere of an earlier time. Our lunch was excellent, well prepared as always and served with the care that is so typical of this restaurant. We left looking forward to our return when we hope for a longer stay.
